Abortion's a very complex issue for which there are no simple solutions, but it's nice to see that all viewpoints are being injected into the discussion.

I'm absolutely pro-life, but at the same time I realize that women have a greater stake in it than I do, and while being pro-life, they might not be quite as pro-life as I am.

But it's long past time we got away from this "the 'right' to an abortion is an absolute and uncontestable 'right'" position, which has overwhelmingly dominated the discussion the past forty years.

That's the deal; it's long past time we've had other viewpoints, many of them held by vast swaths of the general public, injected into the debate, not only the Democrat, liberal, and primitive notion that abortion is an absolute "right."
