President Trump’s plan to make Mexico pay for the wall he intends to build on the southern border may have taken shape Thursday, when his spokesman suggested imposing a 20-percent import tax on Mexican goods.
“When you look at the plan that’s taking shape now, using comprehensive tax reform as a means to tax imports from countries that we have a trade deficit from, like Mexico,” Spicer said.
“If you tax that $50 billion at 20 percent of imports – which is by the way a practice that 160 other countries do – right now our country’s policy is to tax exports and let imports flow freely in, which is ridiculous,” he said. “By doing it that we can do $10 billion a year and easily pay for the wall just through that mechanism alone. That’s really going to provide the funding.”
Let’s be clear: Mexico will pay for the wall despite what their leaders say.

Spokesman says Trump seeks 20 percent tax on Mexican imports
President Donald Trump called on fellow Republicans to help him enact “great and lasting change” during a party retreat Thursday but offered few details. Later his spokesman said the president will seek a 20 percent tax on Mexican imports to pay for a proposed border wall.
The president was greeted by cheers as he took the stage in a hotel ballroom, telling senators and House members, “This Congress is going to be the busiest Congress in decades — maybe ever.”
On the flight back to Washington, White House spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters traveling with the president that Trump will seek to impose a 20 percent tax on Mexican imports to pay for the wall. Congressional approval would be needed for such a step.

Somewhere else on the board, it was mentioned that the Mexican economy gets 40 percent of its' GDP from its' neighbor to the north (us). Wire transfers are big business. Want to really hurt Mexico? Slap a 20% tax on those wire transfers.
The main problem with all of this is as follows: Pena Nieto got 38% of the vote in 2012. The guy who ran second is a Sandinista-lover who also idolizes the current government of Venezuela. The next election is next year. Pena Nieto is probably going to lose to this guy. Then, we have problems.

Mexico is an ultra-corrupt nation, with entire regions in literally active control of DRUG CARTELS.
We don't need them - they NEED us.
We are not INVADING them - they are INVADING us.
Build the WALL.
