Prediction: Trump's approval rating will fall below Dubya's all time worst of 22% - yes or no?
President Bush will leave office as one of the most unpopular departing presidents in history, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll showing Mr. Bush's final approval rating at 22 percent.

Seventy-three percent say they disapprove of the way Mr. Bush has handled his job as president over the last eight years.

Mr. Bush's final approval rating is the lowest final rating for an outgoing president since Gallup began asking about presidential approval more than 70 years ago.

4. Did Dubya not slink out of office at 22%?

Don't you remember 2008?

What will say now that that crutch has been removed?

6. I believe Dubya had the decency to know his presidency sucked

and he said "If I disappear for a decade or two people might forget".

and they did.

8. We all realize his Presidency sucked.

Hence, the dry spell that followed for the Republicans, and the rise of the Tea Party.

Just turning the screws.

9. Who gives a shit?

This really doesn't mean anything in the long run.

Did a 22% approval rating stop Bush from implementing any of his policies? Nope, not really.

But when you hear people shrieking that Trump...cackles in Russian while barbecuing babies on a bonfire, that everyone who voted for him must be a card-carrying Nazi who hates the human race, or whatever other bit of over-the-top hate speech happens to be fashionable among the chattering classes...You’re hearing the voice of class bigotry: the hate that dare not speak its name. 11. It depends. If American families ...

once again start seeing sons, brothers, uncles, and husbands coming home in flag-draped boxes based on pure bullshit, then maybe.
Otherwise, while Trump will always be lowly regarded, Bush will remain the undisputed champion of shitty numbers.
Tea parties are for little girls with imaginary friends.

13. Body bags came home in greater numbers under three-putt

than under Bush.

Where was your righteous indignation then? Or was it ok because it was....obama...or something?

BOOM!

14. For reference

"575 US troops died in Afghanistan during the Bush presidency. By August 18, 2010, following two troop surges initiated by President Obama, that number had doubled. Today, over 1500 US troops have died in Afghanistan since President Obama took office—and yet, little in that war-torn country has changed."

No response to that one.

What gives you any indication that Trump is a war hawk?  He's more isolationist than some republicans.  I think he's quite loathe to put our boots on the ground.   If he does though, they won't have their hands tied behind their back.

Yep.

I'm sorry, but (D)U Jr is simply too retarded anymore.  Can't deal with it.

I have a feeling that when Trump cries havoc and let slip the dogs of war, those dogs are not going saddled (or leashed by) with a bunch of stupid ROE.

They are going to be doing what the military does best, killing people and breaking things.
