As Good As Obama Was He Made Some Strategic Errors.
Obama mistakenly believed Republicans would work with him when they had already planned to scuttle his presidency. He also appointed GOPPERS to his cabinet and Comey to the FBI to show he was bipartisan. Do we see and Democrats in Trump appointees?.
He also did not publicize the Affordable Care Act and let the law speak for itself as Republicans attacked it. He never really defended it like he should have. He also supported "chained CPI" as part of a budget deal. And what was another error was pushing "fast track" and supported TPP when many workers and unions were against it. Such support hamstrung Hillary who could not go as far as Trump did on trade. And Clinton's support and signing of NAFTA was still remembered as a Democratic plan when the GOP and Bush negotiated it.
In the end NAFTA, GATT, favored nation status and other trade deals did not really benefit the US as it had been promised. Even though the GOP was primarily responsible for the loss of so many jobs the Democrats have gotten hung with it.
The GOP was the real culprit with this tinkle down economy yet the Democrats were hung as forgetting working class Americans.
Third way and bipartisanship has not worked very well. Plus the GOP has controlled the narrative for a very long time.
Hard to get more delusional then that.

Liberal logic on display there. It's going to be fun to watch them claim "US jobs are a bad thing" for the next 4-8 years.

That's why--and I should be embarrassed to admit it--when seeking recreational reading matter, I head for DU Jr. or Manny's message board.

The 3rd way hasn't worked very well? That's JPR talk. That's a direct indictment against the Clinton's and the Obama's.
Did no one call out Bob on this heresy?

I went to look at the original thread.
The primitives are using that old stand-by whine; we're "racist."
It's too bad they can't come up with something new.

Did any DU-member remind TMN that, "You'll have to vote for it to find out what's in it," was not a reference to Congress' 2010 edition of Secret Santa? Or did all of DU exhibit selective amnesia?

I ain't a racist. I don't own a race car. Never been a driver of one either. :-)

Serious question.
Do you think that they even have a remote understanding remaining of what the term "racist" actually means?
They have been using it as the go-to smear for everything they disagree with for so long now that I seriously doubt it.
"Math is racist", for one recent example, is a complete non-sequitor. How can an inanimate skill be racist?

No, they have no idea.
Over the years, the primitives have cheapened the language so much that their words don't mean shit.
For example, "right wing" has no ideological meaning for the primitives; it's just a term they use to describe someone or something they don't like, no more than that.
Or "tolerance" to the primitives is something wholly contradictory to those of us in the civilized world.
The primitives are very much like cousin nadin; words are just shit to fling around, nothing more than that.

In DUmp speak, "racist" = "Not anti-white enogh"
You guys get a load of the DNC chair White-Hate-A-Thon? I couldn't have asked for anything better!
