Something that gives me a slight sense of comfort in the dark days ahead.

Every day Donald Trump spends in the White House and walks through the halls, he'll be forced to come face to face with this hanging in the corridor:

Sure, I assume there's nothing that would stop him from covering it up if he wanted to. Or removing it. Or drawing a fake moustache on it. But eventually someone is bound to notice if any of that happened and even if it does happen, it only brings home an inconvenient truth to the Madman.

And that inconvenient truth is that he'll always have the stench of illegitimacy surrounding him. He'll be reminded that he lost the popular vote to her by nearly 3 million people, and that his much ballyhooed "electoral landslide" actually was in the bottom quadrant of all electoral victories. He'll be reminded that he had to strike a deal with the Russian devil to shame and defame his opponent to get to where he is at that moment and that people aren't going to forget that fact.

He's going to see her perpetually smiling face every single day and it will eat him up.

He'll see her face continue to smile as his approval ratings continue to plummet as he stumbles and bumbles and wrecks this country's good name. He'll see that face as the reputation of her and President Obama continue to rise in sharp contrast as reminders to the people of a more stable, prosperous time in this country.

He won't be able to escape it, the shame he'll feel every single time he passes her in the hallway.

And in the end, when he's done, he'll be so much of an embarrassment to this country they won't even bother to put up a picture of him in the White House. He'll forever be a bastard to history.

Every. Single. Day. That's what he'll be forced to deal with.

If Tommy were not a DUmmie i would laugh at this. But Tommy is serious as herpes.

He will probably regard it with about the same amount of curiosity as the portrait of Abigail Fillmore.

IF he pays any attention at all, he'd think, "I'm President and you will never be".

Trump will look at that picture, and think: "I am a hero. I saved this country from 8 years of that power mad, greed bitch."

Or he'll just hire hookers to piss on it.

He should have it updated to be a more current look for Hillary;  Something like this, perhaps?

And the funny part about the whole thing is that the hildabeast has to sit there quietly and watch while he is sworn in. :rotf:

Sorry, Tommy Boy.  Unlike ShitMidas the drooling Marxist and the Arkansas Grifters, Teh Donald has immense respect for the White House and everything in it.

 :bird: you.

:lmao:  How do you figure that, Tommy?  He'll ignore it.

I doubt he'll be so petty, like Obama removing Churchill's bust, to remove it.

I'm looking forward to Churchill being returned ASAP to a place of prominence.  I believe Trump said he'd do that.

Well, if Trump had the mentality of DU-members, he could turn the picture around to face the wall. IRL, it won't bother him for a femtosecond.

He just needs to say "take that down" and it will be taken down.

He probably will.

End of "comfort."

No he won't.  He has more important shit to deal with.  It's DUmmies who remove magazines and sculptures.

Without reading the substance of the OP...

I would have answered "Is it a rod, or a staff?"

Speaking of which, I think I read that Trump asked for the bust of Churchill to be loaned to the US again to be displayed at the WH. :-)

Wow, that takes some serious professional Photoshop skills to clean up the mid section and face of the failed Presidential candidate and future inmate.

It also explains why they cut off the cankles nobody has that much Photoshop talent or computer memory.

Maybe it's more like "The Picture of Dorian Gray" x (-1).
As Hilly ages, the painting continues to look better with the passing of each excruciating year.
Then again, it just might be due to the application of an entire semi-trailer of lipstick to that particular porcine personage.

Well now, I believe it is the picture of how she sort-of looked 20 years ago, to be fair to the artist.  However to the extent Trump thinks about it at all, I'm sure he'll regard it as a thing second only in goodness to having her there in a cage with a gag in her mouth.

Maybe President Trump will put some red-white-blue bunting over it. :whistling:

Awesome!
Obama clearly had it sent back to England because, in Washington DC, he already had to face enough examples of REAL leaders staring him in the face (i.e. the portraits of past presidents, the Lincoln, Washington, and Jefferson Memorials), he figured that would be one he could get rid of to stroke his own ego and further piss off the Brits (Seriously, all throughout his reprehensible administration, Obama seemed to be constantly on the lookout for new ways to piss off everyone in the British Isles). Trump clearly wanted it back because he wanted another example of a great leader around to motivate him to do his best to live up to that kind of legacy.

Well, Kenya - land of BHO's "father" was a Brit colony. And BHO evidenced a clear desire to offend and @#$% over as many US allies as possible. That said, getting rid of a reminder of a 20th Century LEADER might have been part of his purpose, too.

Saw somewhere this morning that the Churchill Bust has been returned already.  Looking for the link.

The man works fast.
