So when do the book burnings start?
Excerpt from today's NY Times column by Charles Blow.
Trump told The Washington Post this week that he may start having military parades in major American cities à la North Korea: “Being a great president has to do with a lot of things, but one of them is being a great cheerleader for the country.” He continued: “And we’re going to show the people as we build up our military, we’re going to display our military. That military may come marching down Pennsylvania Avenue. That military may be flying over New York City and Washington, D.C., for parades. I mean, we’re going to be showing our military.”

Yeah. It's like defunding birth control pills, making them an individual responsibility, is the same thing as abolishing birth control.

5. Evidently, the wrong one

1.) How does Cyr get from the military being present in parades to book burning? That's an Olympic class non sequitor.
2.) Contrary to the WashPost's Blow's and OKN's conclusion jump, Trump was talking about the military "showing the colors" by participating in events like the Rose Parade or St. Patrick's Day Parade, not Nazi or Soviet or NoKo style shows of bellicosity. I realize that Libs & Progs refuse to see any difference, and hate the military generally, but that's their problem. Military folk are a part of this country's citizenry, and have won and defended our freedom (and that of quite a few other countries in the process).
