Yes there was a checkin thread for marchers.  It was not a large bonfire.  Many marches planned for CA, which will be nice and warm and comfortable.  Speaking of which, where are Obama's "comfortable shoes?"  Remember that?

I see the excuses for lower than desired attendance have already begun.

DUmmy knows that if few show up, the protest will have the opposite effect. Instead of highlighting that there are at least a billion people opposed to The Don, it'll come off as just a few miserable cranks. I expect lots of tight crowd shots, a few shots of California's protests, a few shots of other events, as well as badly photoshopped stills.

They'll be too traumatized to leave their parents basement and will probably hide in their empty pizza box fort.

What in Hades is she talking about, from up there in her Jamaican ivory tower?

FWIW, a storm is supposed to be coming into the SF Bay Area this afternoon, with showers Thursday and possibly Friday. So tantrumming Progs' fervor may be dampened a bit.

OTOH, the weather looks cloudy and dry for my race up in Woodside Saturday morning.
