Dangerous Divisions
If nothing else, Donald Trump is a divider. The divisions he has created have reached a dangerous level.
It is critically important that we remain calm during these treacherous times. We should ally ourselves with the facts and the truth and remain steadfast in our resistance to this attack upon our way of life.
Anger levels and emotions have reached a new high. We must guard against those that would resort to violence. We believe in debate and honest discourse. We believe in democracy. We stand united.
These are times that call for courage and patience and understanding. Do not fall into the trap of volatile expression. Do not fan the flames of division.
These are dangerous times.
Oh, I dunno. I don't think it's possible to fan any more flames of division after all we've gone through the past eight years, the way Obozo's run things. Nothing's going to change, so I'm not going to worry about it.

1. You are correct
I'm glad you brought this up. We can't give those people a reason to attack us. We must remain calm and not react publicly to whatever they throw at us.

2. war tactic
This is one of the oldest tactics of war in the book. It is extremely effective and requires little knowledge. Divide and conquer. It is time for the Democratic Party to wake up and smell the coffee. We need to Fight Fire With Fire. It is too bad we do not have a democratic Donald Trump. unfortunately this is a sign of the times and as Democrats we need to start making more noise and pointing out all the wrong doings going on with the Republican Party. the first thing they attempted to do was to strip the powers of the house ethics committee. that apparently was the single most important thing to them. it shows what their intentions are.

3. This Strategy Will Not Work When The Come After You And Attack.
Even though I do agree that we should not give them reason to attack, they are going to attack anyway because we exist like LGBTQ's and minorities. Remember the "liberal hunting licenses" and look at the GOP in Wisconsin working at suppressing liberal ideas.
Your post is noble and correct. Sadly I sense a huge attack on everything progressive. And you cannot count on being ok if you just let them go at you. Just ask the Jewish community that survived WWII. We are in a different game now.
The dangerous divisions that we have are being widened by Trump and his supporters deliberately. We will not be able to remain silent and on the defensive in the face of the racist and bigotry and misogyny we face. Trumpets will NOT allow it. They want us gone or eliminated and they make that clear.
Being a veteran who served in Vietnam I learned even though I am more of a pacifist is that there is a time that you will have to fire back in kind and more.

Dangerous Divisions

Funny thing, most polls show Americans believe that Obama has set race relations back decades. That is where the real danger lies.
The hateful rhetoric from Hillary and the democrats has dehumanized their opponents to the point where her supporters think they have the right to do what they want to people that don't share their views.
The Chicago torture case is a good example of that.
Then again, we don't have to look any further that DU for that evidence. DUmmies are more than willing to lock up people that disagree with them.
Several threads have went so far as to give subtle hints that someone should take care of Trump.

The GOP in WI winning the governorship, both state houses and the state supreme court is not suppressing liberal ideas. It is just showing how unpopular they are.

That's funny ken****...all the violence seems to be coming from YOUR SIDE.

On behalf of 5 dead cops in Dallas: Go get bent.
It's weird they say "Now that Trump is in office..." as if:
1. They hide the racism Obumbles has ginned up during his tenure
2. It admits that conservatives have held their peace far better than the Proglodytes have
-
I have lost count of the number of DUmp threads we have documented and archived that have advocated assassination of President elect Trump.

Maybe if they didn't use battering rams on ordinary, law-abiding citizens, they would be a little more liked. I know I posted this before, but it chilled me to the core. DUmmies, how come you never talked about this? Oh, and just because it's published in NR, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Oh now I remember. The WI Supreme Court shut the whole shameful thing down, and you had a major sad. You people disgust me. No wonder you're afraid.

They know the depths of their own depravity. They just can't deal with them, except to project them on everyone else.

You did. His Name is Donald Trump. Your party has gone so far left that you lost him.

" We must guard against those that would resort to violence."
That's funny; In this election season, nearly all of the known violence has come from the LEFT!
Funny thing, most polls show Americans believe that Obama has set race relations back decades. That is where the real danger lies.

Hear, hear!
Obama, who was billed as "The Great Uniter" who would bridge all the gaps between everyone and bring perfect harmony back to politics has instead been the single most intentionally divisive president I've ever seen in my almost 33 years of life.
He has constantly sought to deliberately turn American citizens against each other, not only along racial lines (i.e. "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon Martin," and his open cheering on of BLM's lawlessness), but also along economic lines (He constantly demonized the wealthy, and openly cheered on Occupy Wall Street's lawlessness), religious lines (He constantly was on the lookout for new ways to give the finger to Christians and Jews, while simultaneously kissing up to Muslims every chance he could get; Remember the year in which he didn't give any kind of public address for Easter, yet did so for countless Muslim holidays), and particularly political lines (He loved finding ways to spite Republicans, and once gave a speech in which he openly called out GOP fundraisers by name and openly accused them of "Betting Against America").
Admittedly, Trump has used divisive language, too, but I doubt he'll come even close to being the divider Obama is.
