Montel Williams Tweet re: Chicago 4
"Life in prison. No parole. I'm not interested in whether these kids had a tough life, whether their parents loved them enough, I don't care.
Whether this is a hate crime is a distraction and irrelevant - THIS IS THE COLD BLOODED TORTURE OF AN INNOCENT HUMAN BEING. That's bigger than a hate crime, it's bigger than racism (saying F*ck white people is racist by definition), its bigger than politics.
Life in prison. No parole. If you can do this to another human being once, you can't be trusted to not do it again.
My prayers go out to the young man in this disgusting video."

men were being gunned down by racist cops?
Where were you when the cops were justifiably shooting in self-defense?

I have a friend, and she told me that her & her brother had a discussion about that poor young man who was mercilessly tortured by those people (And I use the term people loosely), and her brother told her that all of them should receive the death penalty. She said she asked her brother why most of the policemen who were charged with killing African-Americans--Be they male or female--usually are not charged with murder? He told her that police have the most difficult job in the world, and that instead of making their job more difficult and second-guessing them, they should be given the benefit of the doubt.
My friend said she told her brother "Spoken like a true, well-off, authoritarian, white male who'll more than likely never be stopped and murdered by the police." She said he told her that he had to take another phone call, and that he'd get back with her.
She said sure he did (And she said for the record that he never answers that "police" question she poses to him.
Your friend is the reason BLM gunned down 5 cops and Dallas and 4 more tortured a kid in Chicago.

29. They won't & shouldn't get life
I don't think the charges carry a life sentence. They have a right to a vigorous defense & their day in court.
George Zimmerman appreciates your support.

That was a pitiful attempt. Almost all of the required elements are missing. Although, we do have the "my friend" part so maybe.... 1/2 a bong.

Where are the DUmmies up in arms over inner city black on black crime in Chicago? Nary a peep.

Stuff like this is why normal people vote to keep the left out of power.

The blacks in those neighborhoods are. But, since democrats know that demographic is already in the bag, no one will listen or do a damn thing about it.
The only real answer is a cultural shift, and anyone who brings it up is instantly labeled and run out of town. It's a lost cause.

Further, a "justice" system that bails, plea-bargains, and paroles thugs back to the streets where they can exact any revenge their buds haven't yet, those folks aren't going to say a word.

That's a big problem with the fascist left wanting more gun control, nearly every time one of these thugs are charged with gun crimes that should get them a lengthy prison term, the state lets them plead down to drop the gun charges and accept the lesser charges.
This is the big thing with Obama pardoning "non-violent" drug offenders. Many of them plead down on gun charges and were only convicted/sentenced on drug charges.

Bring back chain gangs and I bet a lot of black crime would be curbed. As is, going to jail/prison is just a vaco for free. If punishment is not punishment then the crime will continue.
-
Good grief! How about failed liberal policies in Chicago?

Back in the late 80's, early 90's, I read in our local paper that the feds came up with a new program. Can't remember what it was called now. They tried it out in Richmond VA. The program was, that anyone that was caught being in illegal possession of a firearm during a crime, did not matter what the crime was, jaywalking, shoplifting, any crime, they got diverted to a special federal court and fast tracked to a ten year federal sentence. No plea bargains and the trial and sentence was handed down in like two weeks. The thinking at the time was that the petty criminals would quit carrying and the real criminals would end up getting locked up for 10 years.
The murder rate in Richmond dropped to like nothing. The crime rate followed soon after. The petty criminals quit carrying. In other words it was a success. So what did the feds do?
Discontinued the program. Seems it was deemed racist. :banghead:

It was called Project Exile and it was very effective but like other crime reduction laws, the left claimed it was racist and a hardship on broken families by moving convicts to federal prisons far from home.

"My friend said she told her brother "Spoken like a true, well-off, authoritarian, white male who'll more than likely never be stopped and murdered by the police.""
The friend sounds like the over- the- top, ultra- stereotypical parody versions of SJWs that conservative commentators like to use for comic relief in their youtube videos. All that was missing was for her to shout in an exaggerated way, "Your racism is TRIGGERING ME! I need to go find a puppy to pet and an adult coloring book to channel my frustrations in."
Back to the topic at hand, while I don't think they'll be getting life (Though Montel is right that they deserve it), based on the charges they're facing and typical sentences for such charges, they should each be realistically looking at, at the bare minimum, 20 years in prison.

DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!
I've been saying this for ages. If they actually enforced the "tough gun laws" that are already on the books, then these people would get locked up for gun crimes. But of course we can't do that because racism.
