I am praying for another deep throat or a act of god.
The trump nightmare must end. It's affecting my health. I just went to the doctor and for the first time in my life i am now on high blood pressure pills. I told the doctor i have trumpitis. I know whats coming when trump takes office. Trump is a serial liar with mental health issues and the republican congress is the most far right congress in our lifetimes. In trumps first year millions of americans are going to get hurt.
They are going to attack obamacare, medicare, planned parenthood, civil rights, voting rights and federal workers. That's just the beginning. If you are a federal worker you better start looking for another job. There are millions of federal workers who do important work that makes all of our lives better. Trump and the extreme far right congress see them as a waste of money or something that should be privatized. A lot of trump voters are going to get hurt. They don't know it yet because they are gleefully ignorant.
They are going to put in place trickle down economics. We know how that movie ends. We get a economic spike, bubble and then the economy goes stagnant. Then somebody does something stupid because of deregulation and the economy tanks.
Foreign policy. All we can do is pray. I believe they are going to go after Iran. They are going to push for far right governments in europe. That's scary.
This is why i am praying for another deep throat. Trump has made countless enemies. Trump has led a dirty, corrupt life. I hope someone in the FBI or CIA finds some dirt on him that will bring him down.
If that does not happen i will hope for a act of god to bring this lunatic down. Heart attack, accident, anything. I don't care.
Good luck everyone. Try to protect yourselves and your families as best you can. Pay attention and stay alert.

and she is stressed about it herself. These are even more stressful times because it's unlike anything we've tried to deal with before.

21. I have the same anxiety...
I can hardly eat or sleep. I will be going to the doctor this week and get checked... I have never had high blood pressure but I am having anxiety attacks. I have been a seasonal federal employee for years and my future prospects might be in grave danger due to the agencies I work for, and that $1 income bs would sink me. I may have to go into the underground again... now that I have reached my 60s, I only care about not being locked up, outliving my aged mother and that's about it. I think everything I have fought and worked for is going to be gleefully destroyed before my very eyes, and I can't bear that. I'm close to tears on a daily basis and I am not an emotional type.
I suspect we are in for some really rough stuff coming to our neighborhoods soon and it will be ugly. Maybe a general strike is in the cards in the near future. I am currently in a safe place living in a self-sufficient house that has off-grid capacity that, at present I can afford. That may not last long but I can, at least avoid the masses for now. I have been avoiding cities for years and now I think I will be even more reluctant to go to one.

That was supposed to be a devastating description of the 00s. It fails, because the real estate bubble inflation and burst had to do with banks making lots of loans to unqualified people who happened to be non-white due to a regulatory interpretation change under Clinton (and uncorrected by Bush).
Take away the, "because of deregulation," and it's a perfect description of the downturn and recession of 2000-2002, the Dot-Bomb of the Clinton years that spilled into Bush's first year and got extended by 9/11.

That may be. The bases (for example Fort Drum here) employ a lot of civilians in low level capacities, like PX checkout people and line cooks. The remote areas rely on the jobs, as humble as they are.

I wouldn't bet on it. There's been a few times where I've seen something so stupid, so dumb, that I told myself "Self, that has to be a mole".
And then the veil gets lifted by some of the enterprising members here at the Cave or elsewhere, and it turns out they're a real person. That place attracts the crazies like just about no place else.

You know, this makes me think of something.
On August 3, 2009, my esophagus exploded, leading to a major loss of blood and, at least according to the Social Security administration on November 23, 2016, rendered me "unable to work for a living".....even though somehow I still managed to work for a living the next seven + years.
Guess who was president then.
On May 10, 2015, my heart spun out of control, majorly crippling me, although I still managed to work for a living another fifteen months after that.

Can I start blaming Obozo for all my health problems now? After all, he did do a lot of things these past eight years that made me sick.

time on these boards for the sake of my physical and mental health. She told me that almost everyone she sees has been saying the same thing. It's an epidemic. People are literally sick because of this.

On November 18, 2016, ten days after the election of Donald Trump, during a routine medical examination it was discerned that I was unanticipatingly on an improvement, a slow mend.
Now, if that doesn't prove that Obozo and his disgusting wife have been responsible for making franksolich sick, I dunno what else will.

But really, one can't fool oneself; Obozo and his sourassed wife, by their obnoxious personalities and destructive policies, made me sick, irretrievably destroyed my health. Recent electoral outcomes appear to have retarded, but NOT stopped, the decline.
