Does the U.S. President get screened for a security clearance?
Truly. I don't think this guy could pass a high level security clearance.
Isn't part of a security clearance mental stability? Not to mention business enmeshment issues all over the world?
Maybe that is one way to prevent him from getting into the WH?

2. He seems to get a free pass on every F'en thing. If he were a democrat all hell would be
breaking loose. It's a total WTF!
Tell that to domestic terrorist Bill Ayer's protégé.

5. I just found this on the Internet
The President has no security clearance, in the sense that other employees of the federal government do. Simply put, there is no document held by the United States government that the President is restricted from viewing for reasons of national security. It's also impossible for the President to violate a security classification; the President has the absolute authority to decide who is and is not entitled to know what is in a classified document, and may reveal any classified fact he or she deems appropriate to any person at any time for any reason (except possibly for a few narrow cases where specific statutes make such releases illegal).
There are documents that the President is not permitted to see (individual Census returns, for example) and information the President may know but legally cannot share, but these restrictions flow from statutory rules that are intended to protect personal privacy. Such documents are not considered "classified" for the purpose of national security law.

and reveal something that he is not legally authorized to share.

7. His financial problems ALONE would keep him from being cleared
Mental problems are part of it, sure, but they only worry about it if you ever sought psychiatric treatment on your own or got committed involuntarily. I had a "TK" clearance (which is so secret even the two words "T" and "K" stand for are classified) and they never sent me in for a psych eval. I believe the holders of serious clearances like Yankee White (which all presidential aides hold) have to fill out a questionnaire.
If I was Special Security Officer at the White House and Trump was the president, I would rule that no one in Trump's entourage gets anything that isn't in the press unless there was a national emergency like an invasion or a hurricane. He runs his mouth too much. He owes too much money to foreign nationals. He has a close and continuing relationship with some relatively unsavory characters. And his tendency to tweet insults over perceived slights could wind up putting TS data on Twitter.

No. They do not believe that for an instant. They never have.
They were just saying that to try and get you to stop pestering them while they work to make the world in their image.

Just FYI DUmmies, Hussein obama's professed use of cocaine would disqualify him from ever getting a security clearance. Ever.

I wonder how many times "Equinox Moon"'s post got Alerted, telling DU-folk facts they didn't want to hear.

Is this guy invoking the conspiracy-theory that Trump is actually basically broke? Or hoping that a flurry of frivolous lawsuits could be used to cripple Trump's Presidency?

Unless you google "TK clearance".
And find this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensitive_Compartmented_Information) at the top of the results page? Sounds like a stolen-valor type :bouncy: -claim to special knowledge.

If you did, then you must know you just broke the law.
Guess who's getting reported.

If DU folk are good at one thing it's ruminating about subjects that they don't have the first ****ing clue about. Watching the ensuing dog pile of stupidity is the fun part.

I thought they were going to stop Trump with safety pins. What happened with that brilliant bit of strategery?

But they believe that a Secretary of State could somehow not know what classified material was.
They somehow believe it was okay that the person closest to the former Secretary of State never at any time had national security clearance.
This is old news, but when the Clintons first moved into the White House in 1993, didn't it take the longest time--years in some cases--for some of the people working there to get national security clearances, and some in fact never did?
The primitives obviously don't give a **** about security clearances; it's just some lame reason to bash the soon-to-be-Thank-God president.

You have to fill out a questionnaire for all clearances, from Secret on up. This DUmmie is apparently trying to look smart.

I don't remember filling out any questionnaire when I joined the Navy nuke program. I do know that someone visited my high school and talked to teachers and looked at my school records.

The various papers you filled out to join the Navy probably covered the information that would be required for a security questionnaire. Basically the questionnaire becomes the basis for fact-checking and such. For some levels it's not how squeaky-clean one is so much as being honest.

Other than underage drinking (never arrested) and a speeding ticket, I was pretty clean. AFAIK, a Top Secret clearance was issued for the nuke program.

The part about honesty being more important than how loudly one squeaked was the advice given guys in my work group when we were asked to submit for security clearances. I never got as far as turning my questionnaire in before it became unnecessary. I was honest and squeaked, so if I had the guys/gals following it up would have had an insomnia cure.

TALENT KEYHOLE (TK)
TK covers space-based IMINT (Imagery intelligence), SIGINT (Signals intelligence), and MASINT (Measurement and signature intelligence) collection platforms; related processing and analysis techniques; and research, design, and operation of these platforms (but see Reserve below).[15] The original TALENT compartment was created in the mid-1950s for the U-2. In 1960, it was broadened to cover all national aerial reconnaissance (to later include SR-71 sourced imagery) and the KEYHOLE compartment was created for satellite intelligence.[16] TALENT KEYHOLE is now a top-level control system; KEYHOLE is no longer a distinct compartment. Known compartments include RUFF (IMINT satellites), ZARF (ELINT satellites), and CHESS (U-2).[17] The KEYHOLE series KH-1 through KH-4b were part of the new TALENT-KEYHOLE designation.

no no no, you missed the memo.
All you have to do is leave your TV on the oprah channel that day, remember?

One is allowed to say they have an SCI clearance, but one is NOT allowed to say which compartments you have access to. So, when the DUmmy mentioned he had a particular access, he ****ed up.

I've missed out on several jobs because of this on the past.
I tell them I'm totally capable of qualifying and getting cleared, but no one wants to go though the expense of doing it.
It must be a huge pain in the ass because they appear to be willing to accept damn near anyone, regardless of other qualifications, as long as they are already cleared.
That was a lot of years ago though.
-
They still do. We call it "any warm body with a clearance".

Most of obama's people including obama could not pass a security check. I would say obama probably is thinking of revealing information to further help terrorists.
-
Good lord, they had to make so many exceptions for obama's people. They couldn't pass.
