Oh my.

Primitives shouldn't be denying revenue for Skins; otherwise trouble happens.

Star expired a couple of days ago. Now I'm getting massive iexplore.exe loads, up to 500,000 k.

Freezes the computer up quite a bit.

If it's not from the site, it could be a vulnerability. If it IS from the site, can any member tell me if there's any way around it?

DU is the only thing I'm running on the laptop.

Only one response thus far, from a primitive a prominent habitue of the nut forum:

1. Here's where I'd start: Don't use internet explorer. Don't install Adobe Flash.

Check your computer for malware.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Chrome is now the most popular broswer, for good reason.

https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html

Animated ads can be brutal on older computers. I'm using Chrome to make this post, and it doesn't automatically start animated ads... most of the time. There's a setting for that. It also uses it's own version of Flash, if you need it, but the most recent version of Chrome doesn't activate Flash by default.

I don't like to deprive websites of advertising dollars, but ad blocking software does work.

The Chrome-based Opera browser includes ad blocking software. It also seems to be quicker than Chrome on older computers

What? I have about 3X that load on Chrome.exe because I have a bunch of tabs open, but my computer isn't bogging down.

I'm only using 23% of installed memory.

He did, and found it. He just doesn't want to recognize it as malware.

More seriously, judging by this post on another site (http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpost.php?p=710274&postcount=3), I'm not sure if Opera is a live product on computers. I tried Opera sevral years ago and HATED it. As I posted there, I use Chrome, but I don't love Google (or Mozilla, for that matter). The Pale Moon browser one member mentioned there sounds interesting to me.

I'm wondering if something similar with this was going on with franksolich a few weeks ago.

Internet Explorer used, at times taking 88+ % of the memory.

I should mention that I built this computer and it has 16 gigs of ram. I maxed out the motherboard that I bought.

Same here.  I like Chrome, but refuse to click anything Google.  Deleted Firefox off the laptop a couple years ago.

I can tell you how to get rid of all the ads dummie.  Speed up your PC as well. Send me a $100 cashiers check with your email address and I will email you the instructions. I guarantee it as well.

I only give free advice to conservatives. You liberals got to pay. Has to do with all the money your politicians take from my paycheck and give to people such as yourself. You can pay me or Skinner... but you gonna pay.

Use an ad-blocker.  Easy.

The IQ level of these DUmmys approaches zero.  These are the same folks I would tell on AOL to press Alt-F4 to see my nude pics.   The smarts these morons need is measured in grains.  They need to remove the PbFt from their butts and #SiO2.

Du is dumbware and it is damn successful dumbware at that. It has succeeded in gathering all the dumbasses from over all the internet into one little corner.  Where we can all laugh at them.

No small feat in my book.   :cheersmate:

40 gr. dosing would work as well.  It's more economical. :whistling:

The DUmmy should close his Youporn and Pornhub windows.
