Last night I was a mole

at a President-Elect Donald J. Trump Self-Adoration rally.

I just wanted to mix in with the crowd and pick up on some the chatter.
I saw some of the expected things, others not quite expected.

The not so expected:
Walked into the center to non-conservative Neil Young's "Keep On Rockin' In The Free World" and LGBTQ Elton John "Tiny Dancer".
A smattering of boos whenever Paul Ryan was mentioned/introduced.
Everyone in the room was in agreement that "Man of the Year" over "Person of the Year".
The large number of young women (the one thing I can't get over about the election is Trump getting 42% of the women vote).
Only saw a couple of yahoos (a couple of InfoWars.com shirts, no NRA shirts).

The expected:
Trump displaying his big ego (he spent a lengthy amount of time going into detail how Election Night unfolded - quite boring).
Trump taunting Media Row.
A few people of color, but the crowd was very, very White. I'd say 98% White. Keep in mind, this is Milwaukee County.

Someone dropped acid this morning. WTF is that?

2. Ewwwww. You are brave.

I wouldn't be able to deal with those people up close.

Were you nervous?

And the other reply also said ewwww and wanted to know if he showered in Clorox.

Isn't that just the sweetest thing?

1. It must be weird, realizing that Trump voters like all sorts of music. I would have preferred "Taxman" by the Beatles, FWIW.

2. Jimbo S needs to get out of his Prog Bubble more often.

3. Trump is a man, not a woman. Wounld a pencil sharpener give you a point?

4. Jimbo S needs to get out of his Prog Bubble and leave his stereotypes at the door. Or at least realize that they have little resemblance to the real world.

It was probably the safest place for him to be in the whole county!

River Hills or Fox Point are probably the most safe but this was in West Allis which is much, much safer than one block North into Milwaukee itself.

Good points.  Having spent a considerable amount of time in those burbs, quite conservative area.  Even got hitched in Fox Point.

and that's one of the big reasons your side lost.  They ASSumed they automatically had the votes of certain classes of people when in reality they did not understand the electorate this election cycle.

The large number of young women

They just can't help themselves.  They automatically put people in boxes and categories.  It's a fundamental difference between us and them.  When I went to a Trump rally, I just saw massive amounts of people.  All spectrums.  I didn't go and place them into groups.  It was a mix of everyone.
