If two or three Republicans were offered powerful chairmanships of important committees?
How many would leave the Republican Party to vote with the Democrats?
They would not have to change to the Democratic Party. They could become Independents.
Would any Republican consider such an offer? I suppose this is probably already being discussed in some circles in the Senate?
Can you think of any Senators that might accept such a deal from the Democrats?
It would be earth-shaking if it happened.
How can you be that idiotic?????????????????????????????????????????????

To keep a long answer short, no, I can't think of any (R) Senators who'd be interested.
Go back to the drawing board, kentuck.

Oh thank Heavens! His shipment of question marks came in! I know FedEx is busy this time of year and all.

The stupid, stupid primitive must have heard that Joe Manchin is considering switching sides.
-
Huh?
He's hoping the electors would throw the election to the House of Representatives where the Dems would then try and bribe enough republicans to defect to install Hillary.

Bribe them with chairmanships that they would get anyway?
Methinks he hasn't quite thought this one through. But then, it's kentuck....

Umm, wouldn't they have a better chance of getting a valued committee position by staying IN the majority party? And wouldn't this piss off the Democrat Senators who DIDN'T get those jobs despite it being 'Their turn' and so likely to lead to Democrat defections?
