Democrats should take every nomination right up to the edge.
They should attempt to deny every one of them. They should pull no punches. They should make public why they oppose each one of them. None of them should get an easy ride. They all are deeply flawed and the Democrats should point out all these fkaws. They should make the Republicans as angry and flabbergasted as they possibly can. Republicans need to understand that Democrats are the opposition Party.

The Electoral College has become the opposite of what Founders envisioned
They were mostly concerned that a demagogue, a democratic populist, would impassion the people to vote against the interests of the nation. They were very much concerned about the popular vote.
However, with the evolution of political Parties, the opposite has occurred. The voice of the majority is now subservient to the mechanisms of political maneuvers and voter suppression. The electoral college is now manipulated by the minority against the will of the majority.
If the electors cannot vote their consciences in a circumstance as clear as this election has presented, then they will never vote against the corrupt system that we now have. Their votes will demonstrate whether the electoral college is something worthy of keeping.
It has evolved into something totally opposite of what the Founders imagined, in my opinion.
They were worried that some high population self interests could install a demagogue.
They saw you and your ilk coming and stopped it.
You are a joke even among other retards.

3. No way they will do that
In fact some democratic law makers have come out and praised some of them.

Guess he didn't get a refill on question marks during the hiatus. Didn't notice one in that nauseating screed.

For people so disgruntled about the EC they sure are pinning a lot of their hopes on electors defecting.

The incompetent and reckless leadership of Mitch McConnell.
If the Republicans are looking for someone to blame for the change in the filibuster rule, they should look no further than their Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell.
His disastrous course of obstruction left the Democrats no choice but to act. His lack of respect for his opposition and his total lack of judgement led to the change in the rule.
This was the same guy that told his Republican followers that his number one priority was to see that Barack Obama was a one-term President. He failed in that quest.
Then, his strategy was to block everything that Barack Obama brought forth. He did not choose moderation on anything. He wanted to block everything.
If Mitch McConnell continues in his position of leadership, Republicans deserve whatever they get coming down the road. His actions cannot keep up with his big mouth.

Republicans never dreamed that Harry Reid and the Democrats would pull the "nuclear" trigger.
They are probably still in shock this morning?
In their drunken stupor, they were still celebrating their victory over "Obamacare" and their high hopes of winning the Senate next year and the Presidency in 2016.
I think they can put those plans on the back burner with this daring move by Reid and the Democrats. The days of absolute obstruction are over.
The reality is one of the worst hangovers they will have ever experienced.

Maybe he wanted to go on a bender, ran out of $$, and the bartender refused to let him run up a tab?

Must not be any bartenders left in town who haven't had that ride with him.
