Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says legislation repealing the Affordable Care Act will be the first order of business in the new Congress.
McConnell announced the agenda Tuesday, after meeting with Vice President-elect Mike Pence and Senate GOP colleagues over lunch.
"When we come back Jan. 3 we'll be moving to the ObamaCare replacement resolution, the ObamaCare repeal resolution will be the first item up in the New Year," McConnell said, referring to repeal legislation that is expected to pass with a simple majority vote under special budgetary rules.

There is a dispute between GOP Senate and House conservatives whether the repeal of the law should be phased in over three years — a timeline senators favor — or more quickly than that.

Through the ACA exchange need to flood Mitch's office with non stop calls. Make this SOB's life hell...or at least his staff's life hell. I'm resigned to losing my insurance but I'm not going down without a fight.

Ocare probably provided welfare health coverage in about equal proportion to those that lost it if the uninsured number is accurate.
The remaining huge percentage of us that have diminished coverage at higher cost from employer provided plans know what happened to them and by whom.
Suck on that long and hard mutants.

I have always said that the dems were betting there were more winners than losers on obumbles care. The dems lost that bet. Maybe they should have read it first before passing it.
The real driver of health care cost is medicare and medicaid. They pay below cost and hospitals, et al, have to make up the costs somewhere. That make up is on regular insurance.
The 30 million illegals don't help much either.

All we heard then was "They're just losing their shitty insurance and getting stuff they need like, mammograms for men, and birth control for men, and pediatrician costs for those with no kids ..."
