So this is how the electoral college is supposed to work..
(some stupid graphic . . .)
and then there is this:

2. Some unattractive options...
Wait until we're in control again, after the nation is in smoking ruins, and try them for treason.
Have some "people's courts", try them for treason and put out 'warrants' to be arrested under power of the Constitution.
Hope some 'patriot' "takes care of it".
Revolution!
I can't really endorse the above 'options' because... just can't.
Or suck it up and amend the Constitution when the nation is in the aforementioned smoking ruins and people are more amenable to such things. I'm all for politicians telling lies (not making mistakes) being a felony as the lying really undermines faith in the government and weakens the nation as a whole.
These electors are going to vote Trump into office and there's nothing (that's not awful) that we can do about it.
In spite of the disclaimer ("I can't really endorse the above 'options' because... just can't") it's still pretty clearly a threat to the President-elect. Skinner better get on top of his nuthouse pretty quickly.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the new R-appointed version of Lois Lerner were to advise the minions to start flagging left-leaning orgs and websites? Maybe Skinner and pals would be subjected to the same type of governmental anal probe that so many on our side have experienced.

Has anyone ever heard before last month that the purpose of the Electoral College was to make sure a "qualified" candidate actually was inaugurated?

Their heads will explode for the next 8 years.

The Democrats think the electoral college is a group of super-delegates.

I'm worried that the DUmmies are going to flame-out well ahead of Jan 20 and will have nothing left for the next 8 years.

As far as why Mary Ann brought the thread over I will say again that there have been more assassination threats since November 9th 2016 then November 4th 2008.
Normal people see this.

This is exactly why Skins closed the island and claimed a hack for so many days. He knew how the inmates were going to react, and wanted to protect the cash cow (the asylum).

Actually, I think all hell will break loose on Jan 20 and Jan 21. It is going to be pure chaos.

Jsup thinks Patriots are on their side of the political spectrum. That's pretty funny.

Humm, are the Dems starting fires?

Yes, actually, because I paid attention in civics classes in school.
The problem here is that DUmmies and other assorted Leftists can't handle dealing with the fact that "qualified" is clearly spelled out in the Constitution: U.S. citizen, over age 35, and a resident of the United States for at least the last fourteen years. According to them, "I really, REALLY don't like him" is some sort of disqualifier.
Yes, the Electoral College was indeed intended to be a final bulwark against electing a President who was not qualified. But what the Founders clearly intended was that they didn't want the people of the country getting fooled into electing Louis XVI for President, not to protect against someone the Left just doesn't like.
