Green Party Drops Statewide Pennsylvania Recount
Source: CBS
The Green Party is dropping its court case seeking a recount of Pennsylvania’s Nov. 8 presidential election. It had wanted to explore whether voting machines and systems had been hacked and the election result manipulated.
The Green Party’s filing came Saturday, saying it couldn’t afford the $1 million bond the court had set. A Commonwealth Court hearing had been scheduled in the case for Monday, and the $1 million bond was due later that day.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has spearheaded a recount effort in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, states where Republican Donald Trump won narrowly over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

3. Well lets think about this-------------
good old wisCONsin had /has a recount going on that cost over $500,000 in 2011, now they come up with some arbitrary number that its going to cost $3.5 million, that is a 2,000 % mark-up in charging for a product , what am I missing here, republican yell voter fraud but when someone wants to ask if there is one .....................they play the game...................
It reminds me of this:

5. She has raised 7 million dollars
And her fundraising website still lists PA.
She is asking for 9 million currently.
We could be just $10 dollars away...

8. We needed all three states to flip
in order to overturn the election. If she drops Pennsylvania, that means it's over.
Nothing too hilarious just yet.

4. Stein raised way more than that didn't she?
I thought Stein had raised enough $$$ to see this through? She has raised $7 million and Wisconsin & Michigan recounts will cost $5 million. I guess she and the Green Party will just pocket the left over money now
ruh roh. i think the light bulb just flickered

It's not about getting Hillary into office now. It's about 2020. I have a little theory about this:

True. Laws to discourage frivolous election challenges have been around in the US for decades, if not a couple of centuries. Looking over the list of PA's Governors, there have been as many Ds as Rs. Evidently neither the Ds nor the Rs found PA's laws regarding recounts excessively onerous, so Ds and Rs alike "own" those laws. Also, Rs and Ds are subject to those laws, equally. It's their response, when losing, that has been different.
I realize not many DU-folk and similarly "minded" Libs & Progs would acknowledge it - their ox has been gored, flayed, eviscerated, butchered, and barbecued - but PA's citizens and taxpayers have a very significant interest in PA's governance not being rendered chaotic and in PA's treasury not being raided by frivolous and protracted election challenges.

Apparently, Stein is going to file suit in Federal court (probably the 3rd Circuit in Philadelphia, but I don't know for sure) tomorrow, to try to force the Commonwealth to do a recount. That circuit was the one that produced SCOTUS Justice Samuel Alito.

That ought to be interesting. Wonder what her basis is for the fed lawsuit?
This whole bullshit is about one thing and one thing only... delaying the electoral count past the deadline so they can cause a crisis. Not that they will win... the house will vote according to their respective states:
The Constitution mandates that House Members vote as a state delegation and that the winner must obtain a simple majority of the states.
And I bet the reps, ever watching their chances to get reelected, will vote according to the initial count. Even if they don't, NY, Mexifornia and all the lib states are outnumbered.
And Recountmas goes on!
I think all this is going to do is make ordinary Americans really start to dislike the dems.

If they wanted a recount, it should of be done right after the election.
