Hmmm.

I thought all had been solved, and things were running smoother than a pig sliding on ice, but I guess not.

the software is stripping out symbols from the thread title

which renders $10 posts such as "+1" incomprehensible.

1. Yes it is.

This is happening because we were hacked and we needed to make our software more secure. Removing symbols does that. Eventually we will fix the software so we can be secure and have symbols in post titles, but for now we in a triage situation and we are doing things in order of importance.

Yeah, he was hacked alright...

...by some kid on his trusty old IMSAI 8080 who only wanted to play DUmmy Kong.

I'll give Skinner this: He has sold more deeds to the Brooklyn Bridge and pouches full of magic beans over the past month than I ever would have thought possible, even with DUmmies for customers.

Could we get autumn leaves or snowflakes to buy and
distribute like we do hearts in February? I guess asking if people want them would be good. Think it might raise the spirits.

 :mental:

Skins at least is a bit honest.

1. We could do this, but I'm not sure it would be very popular...

...because a large proportion of our members just contributed to DU this month.

We are definitely looking forward to doing it in February. And we might make it a more regular thing after that.
