Title: Trump taps KT McFarland for deputy national security adviser

President-elect Donald Trump has tapped K.T. McFarland to serve as his deputy national security adviser.

McFarland has worked under three Republican administrations and is currently a national security analyst for Fox News.

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, selected last week as Trump's national security adviser, confirmed her appointment on Twitter on Friday.

She's an excellent choice.  Probably has a clearer vision of what is going on in the world and a better grasp of Realpolitik than anyone else he could have picked.
