A national defense analyst says President Bush should be commended for keeping quiet about a discovery that could have blown his critics out of the water.
Retired Major General Jerry Curry is a decorated combat veteran who served as an Army aviator, paratrooper, and Ranger during a military career that began during the Korean conflict. He recently wrote on his blog about a very under reported story by the Associated Press.

But Saddam didn't have any weapons of mass destruction, and would have NEVER thought to make some, right ?

13. Oh for God's sake.
If this were true we WOULD have known about it by now. There is simply no damn way that Bush would have kept it quiet for this long. I mean, keep the terrorists in the dark? Fine, I can accept that for the first few months, maybe six, maybe even a year. But not this god damn long, Bush would have announced it prior to the '04 elections, or in the '05 and '06 downslide, or prior to the Surge. But he didn't, because there is just no proof.
The clearly deranged..

16. It was no ****ing "discovery"
The IAEA knew about Iraq's yellowcake stockpile since 1981 and it was last comprehensively inventoried in 1994. One of Blix's jobs going back in was to see if any of it had disappeared. Idiot Boy stepped on his dick when he claimed Saddam purchased yellowcake from to Niger to ADD to what we already knew he had.
And the prize..
Remember kids Saddam did not have WMD, WMD components, or the intention to build any (as soon as those pesky UN inspectors leave).

Didn't the New York Times also, rather by accident, let go the fact that, once the sanctions were removed, Saddam could have had an operational nuke within one year? I think it was in December of '06, when said treasonous organization printed a story about Saddam's nuclear secrets being posted on the Internet . . .
