Ya know...

It's fun to laugh at them in their intransigence -- and we should laugh at them -- but more importantly I cannot over-emphasize what a strategic blessing this is for our side.

Far from trying to allay their delusions we should be encouraging them. If they are so out of touch with reality the last thing we want is for them to come to their senses and suddenly start making cogent responses.
