2. Highly unlikely.
Wikipedia is a weird place. Anyone can propose anything there. The article on DU won't be deleted. Cooler heads will prevail.
N.B. - I'm not a participant at Wikipedia, but nothing can happen without a discussion. Since this nomination for an Article for Deletion was just posted today, no discussion has taken place. I expect that any such discussion will lead to the conclusion that the article on Democratic Underground should remain on Wikipedia.
People do this sort of attack all the time. The person who nominated the article for deletion has no credibility or activity on Wikipedia, as far as I can see.
Why would anyone call for DU entry at Wikipedia to be deleted. It is probably one of your guys.

9. It is interesting that there is that Wiki history...
of people 'criticizing' DU for being DU, rather than critiquing the factuality and related citations in the "article" entry.
It's alarming how public censorship is becoming so common place and acceptable.
Huh? :wtf2:

7. Is this the warning that the Trump Secret Service will come after DU star members
for exercising free speech? That's what I got from this link.
If you are making threats against Donald Trump, which is illegal. I suggest you STFU!

The chances of W'pedia having no article on DU, IMO, are slim, and I hear that Slim left town. :rimshot: :bolt:
Since conservatives tend to regard DU as a source of entertainment, I think the possibilities of the proposal to delete DU's article having come from Progressivier-Than-Thou sources or a DU operative hoping to rally the DU-troops are at least equal to the chance the proposal came from an R or a conservative.

I got into a Wikipedia feud with Ben Burch over a decade ago regarding the DUmp page. Others did too. Both sides kept editing it back & forth for a couple weeks. Good times.
