Democrats have ignored this problem since 2000 when it first reared its ugly head. Many of us have been lobbying since then for this highly corruptible system to be fixed, preferably with paper ballots, all to no avail.
After 2000 you hated paper ballets because your base was too stupid to even punch holes properly.

If there is a GOP state Governor, even if Democrats pols would press the issue, I don't think it would matter.

Most of us have no idea how to go about stopping it. I've racked my brain trying to figure who to turn to. Which institutions? Which leaders?
I think it is apparent we have a majority who would want the election overturned if asked. If I had the ability to write a decent letter I would send one to President Obama, VP Biden, Hillary, Bill Clinton, Harry Reid, and my California Senators, Boxer and Feinstein. On the republican side - Lindsay Graham, at least. After those I'm out of ideas.
All I really know is we must stop Trump. And we can. It shouldn't take every voter writing a letter, either. Other than a bogus electoral college "win" there isn't one single argument for a Trump Presidency. Everyone knows he's not qualified. Everyone knows he's a liar and a cheat. Republicans know. His supporters know.
Even before the Russians admitted to it, pretty much everyone knew they were collaborating with the Trump campaign. And we all knew that the FBI, specifically James Comey, put out a big fat lie 2 weeks before the election for the sole purpose of turning people against Hillary Clinton. There does not need to be "proof" that these things changed what would have been the outcome of our election. The fact that rogue FBI operators and Russian organizations influenced the outcome is enough.

That strange feeling in your gut is what it feels like to get schlonged. Between the 55 California electoral votes and the 39 voted New York has, your candidate had a 84 vote headstart out of the starting blocks on election day and you still lost. Stop looking for excuses and own up to the fact that your candidate was damaged goods.

This is a mind-set. This is how Donald thinks, and it's funny, but it's also really troubling. That is not the way our democracy works. We've been around for 240 years. We've had free and fair elections. We've accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them, and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election. You know, President Obama said the other day when you're whining before the game is even finished-- It just shows you're not up to doing the job. And let's be clear about what he's saying and what that means. He's denigrating, he is talking down our democracy. And I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position.

Yes something definitely strange happened dummie. Your side couldn't steal enough bogus votes this time to put your worthless candidate over the top. That meant the Pres elect Trump must have really kicked your arrogant asses.
We kept telling you the polls were biased and you made fun of us. The two that were fairly close IBD and LA Times, you arrogantly dismissed out of hand.
The final poll, the one that mattered the most, showed your candidate lost in big league way.
To put it another way... Trump just rammed his electoral pecker down your throat and there was not a damn thing you could do about it except say: "Thank you President Elect Trump, and may I have another!"
