I was embarrassingly wrong in my predictions.
I got it all wrong, and am still trying to puzzle my way to an understanding of that. Many people were equally wrong, too. We need to understand why and recalculate before the midterm elections. That's job one for me now.
We lost this, and the cost is likely to be high. We must find a way to reverse this ASAP. We can only do that by coming together, I believe.
Did you ever think it was because you are an idiot Mr. Campbell?

Minnesota Moses has his rock at Meribah moment, and realizes he'll never see the promised land of a Hildabeast presidency.

When your head is composed of these, it makes thinking hard...

I think the best part of this whole thing is that the democrats will "fight back" by doing more of the same, expecting a different result. And the reason for this is because they have rocks in their head. And this makes my quite happy.

Seems like every time they lose an election I hear the same thing: Our message did not get out. Well the last 8 years their message got out in a big way and was repudiated with extreme prejudice.
I am having a ball shoving Trump's win into the face of the arrogant dem supporters. :cheersmate:
I am a realist though... when you have only two parties to choose from, they will swing back and forth no matter the demographics. The party in power as president very rarely goes more than 8 years for either side. Seems the GOP holds on to congress longer than than the dems. I remember back in 2008 all the MSM pundits predicting that the dems would be in power for a generation. Took all of two years. The dems always overreach. The GOP never seems to do enough.
Just the way it is I guess.. :cheersmate:

Despite the dem candidate spending twice as much money, despite the educational system from grade school to college indoctrinating students to vote dem, despite the news media giving the dem candidate support and cover, despite the entertainment industry supporting the dem candidate, despite photo IDs not being required in many states AND flooding the country with illegals, and despite having the full support of the dead, the dem candidate lost. With everything considered the loss was actually near landslide scale. The answer as to why the dem lost is out there, but the dems are too aloof and narcissistic to see it.

You over sampled democrats in the polls and the woman you nominated was a horrible candidate.

As Ray Stevens sang,
There is none so blind
As he who will not see
We must not close our minds
We must let our thoughts be free
Ya know those millions of normal Americans you demonized the past 8 years as racist? They listened to you and voted. Ya know those millions of normal Americans you demonized these past 4-8 years as misogynist, homophobic, Islamophobic, and every other of your bogeyman-demons? They listened to you and voted.
Ya know how you all denounce any news source telling you truth you don't want to hear as reich-wing? People who voted for Trump are more interested in truth than molding truth into their ideology.
And the great thing about telling DU-lurkers these unpleasant (to them) truths is that :-) I'm certain most or all will reflexively reject it. :-) :fuelfire:

You are correct, sir.
They will continue to insulate themselves in the bubble, remaining ignorant as to why their world fell apart like this. They will continue to be lazy, explaining stuff away with the first wrong answer that comes to mind, e.g. "racist!" They will not seek out thoughtful commentary, sticking instead to the insanity and moonbattery of Salon, Slate, or Politicsususa.

For many people, "I was wrong," is the hardest sentence to conceive of, let alone say.

14. Interestingly enough, not too many minutes passed after
I posted this before a thread popped up discussing this thread on the Cave. At least three people posted copy and paste stuff from this thread there. Clearly, there are folks here, even now, who are far from being on our side.
And so it goes...

The pundits are already presuming to tell Trump what to do ("The American public will never put up with ABC") and to predict what will happen in a Trump Presidency. They never learn.
And the leftist idiots continue to think it was their communication of their message was flawed. They will continue to lose so long as their message is flawed. PEOPLE DON'T WANT SOCIALISM NOR SPECIAL RIGHTS.

He reads both forums and reports back on what he finds - which is that people here read both forums and report back on what they find. Isn't that like driving around a traffic circle while complaining that other people are driving around in circles?

Yeppers! Skinner's ideological cleansing is incomplete.
So has MM been rowing over here to the Cave? Or did some one else do it and tell MM of this thread? If the latter, is MM sure the informant isn't a Cave member who posted in or initiated this thread?
