The Hill: ‘Shattered Dreams in Clintonworld’ as Longtime Aides Left Jobless
Amie Parnes writes in The Hill about the future of the “legions of politicos†who had “hitched on to the Clinton train†for decades. Donald Trump’s defeat of Hillary Clinton “shattered the dreams of thousands of longtime Clinton aides and supporters who hoped to follow her to the White House.â€
From The Hill:
This week, the Clintonworld train went off the rails — this time, seemingly for good.
In interviews with more than a dozen former Clinton aides, they expressed a grief and pain akin to losing a member of the family.
…
“For many people Clintonworld is life,†said one former aide.
“They don’t know anything else. There was a lot of measuring the drapes and not just now, it’s been that way for a long time,†another former aide said.
Those in her orbit didn’t just expect Clinton to win. They expected her to win big with the campaign telegraphing that states like Arizona were in play.
“And people thought she was going to win with 300 electoral votes. Everyone was thinking about their own lives in another Clinton administration. It seemed like it was finally happening.â€
Weeks and months before the election, many aides, former staffers, surrogates and anyone who had ever worked for either Clinton had been lining up for jobs in what they thought would be a return of the Clintons to the White House.
All those hopes and dreams down the sh!tter.
All those final checks bouncing as Hillary absconds with the remaining petty cash.
All the thousands of aides and working now looking for a REAL job where you have to be more than a yes man...you have to actually produce.
All the DUmmies who thought their loyal postings would be rewarded someday.
All gone. Kaput. Finito.

Don't leave out the sad shits that pumped hundreds of millions into the clinton syndicate coffers.
-
These sorts of tear-jerking stories make me want to puke.
I recall once--this was many months after the fact, after I returned from the socialist paradises--reading an article from November or December 1994 in Time or Newsweek, describing how the Republican takeover of Congress had led to massive unemployment among former Democrat staffers in the Senate and the House.
Well, a big****ingwhoop-de-do.
I don't recall any stories bleeding tears over other sorts of employees in other sorts of businesses losing their jobs; it's as if Democrat staffers had a "right" to a lifetime sinecure or something.
I think it'd be good for people on governmental payrolls to have to look for another job once in a while.....just as all people on other payrolls have to.
It'd probably be good for the WillyT primitive and Skippy, the now-banned NYC_SKP primitive, to work in the private sector for a while.

I have said for ages that the actual intelligent people in the rat party hierarchy were terrified of a shillary nomination.
There was a reason they abandoned her in 2008.

This would be the same hillary who talked about minimum wage needing to be higher, but refused to pay any salary at all to her interns, right?

A higher minimum wage is good as long as it's coming out of someone elses pocket.

Well, that is just too bad for them.

No kidding. My boss voted to raise the minimum wage. He makes a salary and often leaves early.
-
Hello! This happens every time there's a Presidential election. So what makes this the least bit remarkable? Besides the fact that, unlike in 2008 and 2012, it's Ds, not Rs who are disappointed and unemployed.
-
God, the fallout just keeps getting better and better!
Wait until Monday when it REALLY hits what has happened.
This week has been simple shock.

And paid her female staffers less than males. Nice example.

Lots of job opportunities for young go-getters at this website http://www.trump.com/ (http://www.trump.com/) :fuelfire:

That is the picture that accompanies the definition of butthurt in the dictionary.

I can't wait. This is serious fun. However, we should sue Mr. Moskwa for depriving us of our entertainment. Commerce restriction, or some shit.

I'll grieve for oh... well I won't. :lmao:

That photo of all the sourpussed White House staffers made me think of that DU thread from a few months back about how DUmmie women hate it when men tell them to smile. It would be awesome to go up to each one of those women staffers and exhort them to smile--it would be just the thing to push them over the edge. Hey sweetheart, hows about a smile?

Oh that's just terrible HAHAHAHA gasp HAHAHA!
Beat the street and see what it's like to try and land a job.

I love the look on Jen Psaki's face! Susan Rice looks as if she's hoping that it's all a bad dream. :whistling: :evillaugh:

And notice the body language - the crossed arms, the leaning away! Hey Obama-bots! You created the socio-economic context against which The SHREW ran and supported/participated in The SHREW's corruption and arrogance.
:ownit: :ownit: :ownit: :ownit: :ownit:

Beat the street and see what it's like to try and land a job.
It's just too bad that when they do so, they''l being doing it as the booming Trump economy gears up, not in a gasping Obamaconony straining to breathe under a crushing burden of regulations.
I just wonder what the labor participation rate will look like two years from now when the fruit of rolling back the Obama legacy begins to ripen. Bet it's not going to make the 'Rats happy to see people back to self-reliance instead of being prodded to vote Dem to sustain their unemployment check.
-
I suspect that in February we'll start hearing the real unemployment numbers instead of the doctored up numbers and the sudden rise will be Trump's fault.

And the MSM will use, "Unexpectedly," much less often.

stats on homelessness will reach an "epidemic" level and will become our new national crisis.

Expect to see the daily body count show up again as well. And it will be all Trump's fault. I hope Trump blames everything on obumbles and when the MSM starts bitching about it he tells them it was OK when obumbles did it so why not now?
