I suppose this is the part where I am supposed to be magnanimous in victory.
That is what Winston Churchill would have wanted, and I have always considered the Prime Minister to be one of my heroes. However, I am not here to be magnanimous. I am here to tell you the fight has only just begun.
Trump was never my candidate. I have never liked his past statements on gun control and unrestricted abortion. His only virtue to me was he is not Hillary and – this may startle you to hear this but – her vagina was never a strong inducement to vote for her; certainly not while being cognizant of her cronyism, corruption, and ineptitude.
THAT is what got me to the polls for Trump.
That and the bald-faced arrogance of the Establishment Machine.
You guys could have run a rancid ham sandwich against Trump – without the ham, no less – and beaten him…but you didn’t. Every professional politician, political consultant, and so-called journalist had it in for the common man. You displayed for everyone to see your sense of entitlement. You mocked the very people you presumed to govern as being beneath your contempt.
When we wanted to know why Benghazi went so tragically wrong you told us there was nothing to see. When we demanded to see it you told us we were not allowed to see it. When we reminded you FOIA allowed us to see it you again told us there was nothing to see. When we learned there was something to see you told us it had been erased. When we found out it was not erased you said there was no crime. When we pointed out there was a crime you clucked there would be no conviction.
At least you were right in that last point but that was not because the facts or the law were on your side, merely the cronyism we have come to despise saved your candidate. You could not be humble in that moment. No, you chose to become even more arrogant and entitled.
There is not one *******ed thing Trump said to make me vote for him. What got me to the polls was not only Hillary’s arrogant corruption but the smug, in-your-face refusal of her party (read: you) to hold her accountable.
When it became apparent to you that the peasants would no longer hold their station you went to the one thing you always go for: the –ism card. All allegations of racism and xenophobia came from one place and one place only: Your minds…which is just another way of saying "your asses."
There will be no pogroms. No person of particular color or ethnicity need to fear the years ahead. The only ones who need to look over their shoulders are those who are here illegally and their ethnicity is merely incidental.
And that is why you will not be granted any graciousness in victory. In fact, as far as you are concerned the battle rages on. You deal in the coin of vile hatred. You thrive on notions of racism and hatred. First, as a means of slandering those of honest disagreement then as a tool to terrify those you consider your property by right of entitlement. Well – **** YOU – you do not get to use your labels of hate to win cheap victories then act as if no consequence is due you. If you spread your lies to such a degree that you have succeeded in believing your own propaganda and are now terrified then all I can say is…
GOOD
Choke on your own hatred you wretched, tiny-minded little shits.
Allow me to explain how this is going to play out.
As a conservative, my goal has been one thing and one thing only: get the central government out of our lives as much as is reasonably possible.
Why?
Because power corrupts – as you assholes have so keenly reminded us these past 8 years plus 1 election cycle – so the only check against corruption is to divide and diminish power.
If you wish to act as if Trump really is a racist, fascist tyrant than join me in gutting the power possessed by the federal government. Help us abolish the Department of Education – or concede your children’s education to Trump. Help us scrap ObamaCare for free-market reforms – or concede your healthcare and birth control to Trump. Help us convert the federal government to a fair tax – or concede regulatory power to Trump. Devolve power away from the federal government – or concede it to Trump’s pen and phone.
Or admit that you were just lying from the beginning and you have no intention of curbing the power of tyranny because you envision a day when that power is once again yours.
It does not matter which way you choose because either choice allows us to paint you for the hypocritical, power-mad incompetents we have always claimed you to be.
This fight has only just begun and yesterday was the first of many body blows.
And I'm feeling pretty spunky at this point.

Both the democrat and Republican hierarchy still do not grasp that in this country those they consider plebes can get pushed only so far and then we will use the wondrous mechanism our brilliant founding fathers devised to let the elite know they govern by consent not by assumption.
Be afraid,be very afraid.
Do not think you can bludgeon folks that take pride in achievement as racists, sexists, etc because we stand in your way of power and enrichment.
Be afraid,be very afraid.
I hope that this historic event will reset the clock to a time where government is constrained by its mandated restrictions and performs its mandated duty.
No longer will we cower,no longer will we accept we have to play the game and if President elect Trump fails to keep his word then we will demand he go and another fighter for us,all of us take up the call.
I want a country that does not measure ones political usefulness by how downtrodden they are but how successful they are.
Now is the time.

So from what I'm seeing on FB, 8 and 4 years ago when Obama won, conservatives were supposed to be conciliatory and realize that we were beaten and move our position to the left - I believe it was Obama himself who threw up his proverbial middle finger and said "I won" when negotiating with Republicans. Now Trump has won. And again, we are being mandated to be the party of conciliation and "come together". The hubris of these fu*kers. No matter what happens in an election, we are told to cater to their self righteousness in basically everything. Well, not this time. I am not feeling conciliatory after being mocked as a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe and being told how to feel, what to believe and when to believe it for the last 8 years. I'm angry. And in case they haven't checked the polls, I'm not the only one. So maybe I will get there one day, but today is not the day. Today is victory.

Not only that, stomp on their ass til they beg and then stomp some more. Let the elite liberal bastards and bitches know that now we got a fighter that does not give a damn what the MSM elites have to say. That is the real reason the MSM hates President Elect Trump. (I like the sound of that) He won't take their stupid BS and played the MSM like a Stradivarius. They got played by a master and they do not like it one damn bit.
Sucks to be them. I have no sympathy.
Edited to add: Seems like the GOP is not in such disarray and marginalized as the MSM would have us believe.

Case in point. Trump held a press conference to announce Obama's birth status. He had all media there who gave him 30 free minutes to have Generals, Admirals and other assorted military personnel endorse him and tell how he's going to be the best president. The last 30 seconds? "he's a citizen, case closed".
Hundreds of thousands in free advertising.

That's common, from my interactions today. Pretty pumped up and two were of millennial age. Comments heard? It was victory of the people, primarily. It was a victory against the establishment.
...and the establishment is?
It's not us, cupcakes.

THE REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES
______________________________________________________
When Barack Hussein Obama was elected in 2008 we Conservatives were some very unhappy campers. How did we react? We went to work on building a majority in the House and Senate. We made use of talk shows and social media to warn as many as possible about the true nature of Barack Obama and we opposed his agenda as best we could.
Meanwhile, "compassionate" liberal Nancy Pelosi scolded Republicans in the House of Representatives by saying quite bluntly "We won the election and we will make the rules".
On November 8th, 2016 we elected a Republican President to go along with the majority Republican House and Senate.
How did "compassionate" liberals react? Riots! Arson! Calls for the murder of the President Elect! Burning police cars!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is THE REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES

No. I can't do it. I don't want to be graceful in victory and neither do I want Trump's camp to be. Over the last 8 years the left had one goal. To rub people like us out of political existence. Even if it is just for four years I want the right to run roughshod over the leftists just like they did to us. I want us to get everything we ask for just like they did. We endured it for the better part of a decade and I think we derserve our due.

I totally agree. Turnabout's fair play; what's sent around comes back around, and it's high time the Democrats, liberals, and primitives got treated the same way they treated us.
However, problem.
Conservatives and Republicans tend to not be as vengeful, as selfish, as spiteful as Democrats, liberals, and primitives; it's just not in our natures. We'd just as soon get along, than kick ass; we'd rather placate, than smash-mouth.
So it's inevitable there's going to be some reconciliatory conduct, some forgiveness, some indulgence, some generosity--we just can't help ourselves--but we must guard against too much of it.
I think being about 5-10% magnanimous is okay so as to satisfy our natural instincts to be kind, but more than that, dangerous.

Have you ever heard of Scipio, a.k.a. Scipio Africanus?
During the Second Punic War between Rome and Carthage, before Hannibal would make his infamous march across the Alps, the Carthaginians had colonies along the southern coast of the Hispania Peninsula and had won the allegiance of many of the tribes.
Two Roman legions led by Scipio’s father and uncle were annihilated to the man by the Carthaginians and their allies. Vowing to avenge the loss Scipio was elected Consul and immediately raised and army and traveled to Hispania.
His first effort in battle saw him take a city through cunning in a near-bloodless victory. The Carthaginians were dealt with harshly but native Hispanians were spared looting and being sent off into slavery. One of the Hispanians was a young woman that was so beautiful crowds stopped whatever they were doing as she passed. Seeking her safety Scipio polled his officers for them to nominate the most religiously pious man from among their ranks. A centurion was appointed to serve as the young woman’s bodyguard. Scipio then ordered riders be sent in every direction summon the prince to whom the young woman was betrothed.
While awaiting the prince the young woman’s parents arrived bringing a considerable sum of gold. They fell at Scipio’s feet begging for his mercy to release their daughter and offering the gold as a ransom. Scipio lifted them up and assured them their daughter was safe, her honor intact and that she would be presented to the prince immediately upon his arrival. So overtaken with gratitude were the girl’s parents they then insisted Scipio accept the gold, not as a ransom but as a show of their gratitude. Scipio declined but the family insisted.
Not long after the prince arrived and, fearing for the safety of his bride, he also fell at Scipio’s feet pleading to know what must he do to earn the girl’s honorable return. Scipio laid only one condition: Scipio wanted to present the bride at the prince’s wedding and he then presented the gold from the girl’s parents to the prince as a wedding gift.
The prince rode out to his fellow tribes and told them of the Roman’s sense of justice and generosity. Almost overnight the Hispanian tribes turned against the Carthaginians.
Accept one.
The city had refused to grant safety to the fugitives of the 2 lost legions and it knew the Romans were coming for vengeance.
As the Romans fought their way into the city they found the people had heaped all of their valuables in the center of the city and the pile was set on fire. Every man, woman and child was herded around the fire. Those that could resist the Romans did for as long as they could but once the inevitable became obvious the Celtiberians began putting their own families to the sword or casting them upon the fire.
It was a horrifying sight for even hardened Roman soldiers but Scipio demanded his soldiers keep fighting until there was no one left.
Scipio called upon the religious to defend the beautiful and the innocent but he showed no mercy to the treacherous and unmerciful.
These ****ers have me in a Scipio sort of mind.

I've given this a great deal of thought since the election was called.
Yeah.
No quarter.
To proceed otherwise would be to give credit to capital that the current misadministration and its sycophants burned up long long ago, and would ignore the debt that needs to be paid.
The bill always comes due. Right now it is past due and accruing interest.

Maybe that is why Trump won. We need someone that is not above being a little vengeful, selfish, and spiteful to get the job done.

I really diverge from some of that Coach. Being called racist for disagreeing with policy positions for 8 + years, being called misogynist for 8+ years for disagreeing with policy positions, being called sexist and misogynist for not wanting the former democrat candidate (that sounds so good I think I'll keep it) because of the policy positions it held, makes it damn easy to set aside any notion of appeasement or "can't we all just get along?". The time for getting along is over. It is time for some curb stomping.
These people are the enemies of liberty freedom and limited government. They cheered every time bungles pantsed America or complained that it was not enough or did not go far enough. Immigration. Gun laws. Jobs. Iran. There are enough examples to fill a star cruiser. Remember what they stand for and how them getting it it hurt each of us, whether directly like bunglecare or indirectly by deliberately, purposefully causing us grief.
Look what they have done to our home (and rubbed our noses in it while doing so).
They deserve nothing but our best efforts to twist the knife every chance we get both here and legislatively. I am not talking sunday afternoon NFL football, I am talking Superbowl

Oh, I remember that all too well, and how outraged I was at the assholes.
But my point still being--which is not in disagreement with anything SSG Snuggle Bunny said, only a corollary to it--that because we're more decent and civilized people than the Democrats, liberals, and primitives, inevitably there's going to be a little "give" on our side, even though those bastards don't deserve the smallest consideration.
I'm all for this "give no quarter, take no prisoners" bit--in fact probably more so than most people here; I want these jerks ground into sand--but again, we tend to be too nice for our own good.....and one can't go against one's own nature. It's going to happen, we're going to slip.
If only a little tiny bit, that's okay; but more than that, we better stop it.

We have been treated with utter sneering contempt and disdain by that side for 8 years. Insulted, accused of things we've never done (racism, bigotry, etc.), told to sit in the back of the bus. Our representatives were locked out of the room when they decided the fate of our very health care. Look at the hatred of us from the DUmbasses. No quarter. From the looks of the comments sections out and about, nobody's giving any quarter either. Some may be slightly gentler than others, but the message is firm and clear: We won. Liberalism sucks.

From Kiellor:
We liberal elitists are now completely in the clear. The government is in Republican hands. Let them deal with him. Democrats can spend four years raising heirloom tomatoes, meditating, reading Jane Austen, traveling around the country, tasting artisan beers, and let the Republicans build the wall and carry on the trade war with China and deport the undocumented and deal with opioids, and we Democrats can go for a long, brisk walk and smell the roses.

The more strident ones won't do that (lay down and die). Those who are far more suicidal-tendant will kill themselves in a way that will cause damage to the ones left behind--especially if the ones "left behind" are of a different political position.
Think bullet to the temple, all over a wall, in front of said family members.
