Man calls 911 after Subway left sauce off sandwich

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jacksonville police say Reginald Peterson needs to learn that 911 is not the appropriate place to complain that Subway left the sauce off a spicy Italian sandwich.
Police said the 42-year-old man dialed 911 twice last week so he could have his sub made correctly. The second call was to complain that officers weren't arriving fast enough.

Subway workers told police Peterson became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store after he left to call police.

When officers arrived, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911. Those efforts failed, and he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls.

...another DUmmie in Florida.   :whatever: :-)

Huh I just heard a tape of a woman calling 911 bitching and demanding a cop come and make a burger restaurant fix her little precious's burger the way she wanted it.

The operator refused quite sternly ;)

It happened in Florida? Amazing, it's the last place you'd expect something like this.  :rotf:

They should let them vote to see how 911 is to be used.   :-)

I have an audio clip somewhere on my harddrive of an old lady calling 911 because she couldn't figure out how to open her bottles of beer she had bought in order to go to sleep! :rotf:

My redneck neighbor used my phone to call 911 because he couldn't find his medication.  We shared a bulding, so it was just a matter of running an extra set of wires to his apartment.  Because of the e911 system, the police came knocking on MY door asking me why the hell I called 911 for something so stupid.
:thatsright:

Florida has turned into a veritable cesspool of ignoramuses. With the influx of all of the damned Yankees and the the "other immigrants", the intelligence level has dropped into abysmal levels.

I thought the dispatcher was really sweet -- clearly this was an extremely old lady who needed help.

It is actually quite sad and not funny at all.

I love it the few times that I watch Jay Leno, that he has those 911 calls on.

There's one where a neighbor is complaining that there are prostitutes in his yard playing horse shoes. I gotta find that one it's hilarious.
