Oh my.

Now, this surely qualifies for the stupidest post of the day.

Bottom Line: Anyone who votes for Donald Trump is aiding and abetting treason.

An American citizen who respects the Constitution, the laws extending from this glorious democratic nation-founding document, and the history we've built and improved upon as a country of immigrants over the past centuries would NEVER be able to vote for him.

It breaks my heart to see these people blindly (and enthusiastically) supporting a such a depraved person, the likes of which will sell this country off to the highest bidder.

Treason.

2. Is it safe to assume that you haven't looked up the definition of 'treason' lately?

3. Maybe you need to read the definition before criticizing me. Have a look:

5. Precisely.

Which would not be the case just because someone votes for Donald Trump. Not even close. Try real hard not to over-state things that way. Really.

8. I'm sorry, but this is a government for the people and by the people.

When the people are too ignorant, too scared, and/or too money hungry then vote for someone like Donald - to try to elect him president, it's an act of betrayal to all of us and to future generations. Voting is SERIOUS and as a collective, we are responsible for any outcome. The outcome of Donald as leader of this country would hurt every single one of us.

10. So what you're really saying .......

....... is that it is a government by and for the people who agree with you. Those who don't think and vote as you do are "ignorant" and "scared".

Do you not see how elitist that is?

It's just sad the way the word "treason" is thrown around these days.

11. Yes, everyone who doesn't think exactly like you is an evil demon.

Ok. Good luck.

Is "Avalux" TMN's sock puppet? Sure sounds like him ... and TMN has lots of socks to spare (unless he uses Injinji athletic socks (http://www.injinji.com/)).

"An American citizen who respects the Constitution"

That excludes most posters on DU.

And yet they don't think it's treason that, shortly after serving in the Vietnam War, John Kerry met repeatedly with the leader of the Viet- Cong to help orchestrate the anti- war protests he led in order to undermine support for the war.

Avalux should post the spiel again except next time try substituting perennial favorites Hatch Act or Logan Act in the place of treason, it might go over better.
