Is it possible to send classified information over a personal laptop?
Would the emails that might have been sent by Huma Amedin have been personal or classified?
I think I read somewhere on DU that classified information could only be sent from one classified system to another classified system?
So, if there were any emails on Huma Amedin's computer, would they most likely be of a personal nature?
But, as of today, we don't know that there were any emails at all? They do not exist if Comey cannot present them.
:thatsright:
This is why you are regarded as perhaps the stupidest of the stupid.

1. They've most likely already been seen. They were NOT sent or received by HRC
I know you little puddle worms are trying to run with that but here is a little clue from someone with no legal expertise.
It makes no difference.
First,in the parsing of words that is DC and the Clintoons raised that to an art form a forwarded email technically would not be "from" her.
Second, assuming that is the case then it is even more damning because it simply was not finding thousands that were from .clinton but it means they were read and the content was what caused the problem.
You know, something like Huma telling someone else how shillary has been directly involved with obstruction of justice or if she relayed classified material that could only have been divulged by the beast itself.

3. Yes, classified info can be sent by email, text, or even twitter.
No one knows if the infornation is classified.
Except the one with the clearance to have it.

5. I'll take a stab at answering your question.
As background, I worked over 25 years either for the government or government contractors. All in classified environments.
Classified computer systems are maintained separately from unclassified systems. They simply don't connect to each other. So, it isn't possible to send an email (even if it contained no classified info) directly from the classified system to the unclassified one. It would take a deliberate act of saving info onto a device (CD, flash drive) and uploading it onto the unclassified platform. This is simply not done and anyone working in this type of environment knows this.
Information on an unclassified system can, retroactively, be classified for a number of reasons and must be removed. There is a process to do this that does permanently wipe the data. There is also the chance that an email might be written where classified info is included. But it is, from my experience, extremely rare. When you deal with classified info on a daily, if not hourly basis, you know what is and what isn't classified.
So, I highly doubt that there will be any "revelation" about Huma's emails. This is all smoke and mirrors.
Even if true the problem is that shills private server was not a part of any government system.
Checkmate.

You don't mean that I could actually call one of you up or send a letter and tell you a secret? Unpossible! Kentuck is always in my to ten.

Morse code?
Even Carrier Pigeon. :whistling:

I just don't see what all the fuss is about.
Everyone knows that all of that classified stuff self-destructs in five seconds, and that the Secretary (of State) will disavow any knowledge of it.
Didn't any of you ever watch Mission Impossible?
Sheesh!!
(Yes, I know, I'm showing my age)

Well that was an exercise of koolaid-drinking while swimming in the proverbial Egyptian river!
FBI Director Comey admitted in testimony before Congress that there were scores of emails on The CHILL's unsecure email server containing classified information, some of which identified the information as classified. This is reality. DEAL WITH IT!
Those DU-folk are so obtuse their group picture is an illustration in high school Geometry textbooks!

"Only if you're a Republican." That was the answer you were looking for, right?
