What a white male retiree said to me while waiting in line to vote...(in Florida)
He told me that he is voting for Clinton because he has strong objections to the way Trump treats and talks about women.
He said he was a truck driver for many years and he never talked like that and can't condone it. He did not like Hillary and said he felt like he was voting for the lesser of the two evils...but he could not vote for Trump. He then told me that his wife likes Trump and is mad at him that he's voting Hillary. Then he grinned and leaned in closer to me and whispered, "Don't worry...she's Canadian and can't vote!"

21. While I was pumping gas recently, there was a group of 4 men that appeared to be in their 60s.. and
They were standing near the gas pumps talking about the election and one of them said something along the lines of "What do you think about that Donald Trump?". Every single one of them said there was no way they could vote for him. I could tell by the things they were saying that they were Republicans. One of their main complaints seemed to be that they didn't like how Trump acts like he can just say and do whatever the heck he wants because he thinks he's more powerful than everyone else.
I live in a small town in the Midwest. My town ALWAYS goes Republican for everything. To hear these men say they couldn't vote for him, was an eye opener for me. If he can't get older, white, male Republicans in MY town.. then he is doing even worse than I thought he was. These men should have been right in his wheelhouse.

16. I divorced my first husband in 1981, 1 year after he voted for Reagan.
There were so many reasons, that was just the last straw. Of course, he's now for Trump, but I saved my sons.

So, I was at the gas station behind a liberal Prius owner who was getting gas. She started sobbing uncontrollably. I walked up to her and asked her what was wrong and was there anything I could do to help.
She said she's conflicted about this election but in the end, couldn't vote for hillary/her rapist husband and that trump was going to get her vote. She went on to say her husband is an out of work coal miner and trump was the only one out there who promised to put him back to work. She's tired of working 3 jobs to support her family and needs someone strong who will look out for America and American workers.
She got applause from the others there pumping gas, who gave her a thumbs up and in some cases, a high five. That was until a policeman jumped out from behind a gas pump and told everyone to calm down.
Guess what DUmmie, that never happened and I'm quite willing to bet yours didn't either.
But, cool story, bro.

I know quite a few truckers and all of them but one is an enthusiastic Trump voter. The one will still vote Trump was hardcore Cruz man.
It will be fun when Trump wins as nobody any DUchebag knows, met, or seen would ever vote for him.

Yup.
"how did nixon win? I don't know anybody that voted for him".

The other day I was at 7-11 bemoaning the fact that they don't offer a gluten free soy slurpee when this 50ish white male wearing a NRA t-shirt and a Make America Great Again hat rudely shove me aside and said to me "hippie, get out of my way, I want a slurpee". Not wanting to create a scene, I moved aside and watched as he poured his slurpee, I casually mentioned his hat and asked, why are you supporting Trump?" He looked at me with his beady pig eyes, spit on the floor and said "Well hippee, I'll tell you why. It's because **** YOU!!"
Not wanting to create a scene, I got back into my prius and drove away to my safe space as fast as my fuel efficient car would go.

Who are they trying to persuade, and of what?

It's all just mental masturbation. Makes them feel real good but doesn't accomplish a thing.

Contrary to popular opinion at the DUmp, most truckers aren't as dumb as Tubby Tobin, and will not vote for the Hildabeast.

And they feel a brief redemption, then insufferable guilt.

No No... you have to be black in this story and the Trump guy needs to be wearing a sheet.

... sometimes I really wonder if it's strictly mental
