Okay folks, I'm really sorry about posting this, as it superficially has no significance making it worth bringing over, but hey, I find a subtle something in it rather heart-warmingly funny.

Why Stews Always Beat Steaks

This is a simple Italianate fish stew, with classic Mediterranean flavors. It’s easy to put together and everything can be prepped ahead. Just pop it the oven 30 minutes before dinner.

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds white-fleshed fish fillets, such as hake, snapper or sea bass, skin removed
 Salt and pepper
2 teaspoons chopped thyme or marjoram
 Extra-virgin olive oil
1 small lemon, thinly sliced
2 cups diced white onion
4 minced garlic cloves, plus 1 whole garlic clove for rubbing bread
¼ teaspoon crushed saffron
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon crushed fennel seed
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 cup dry white wine
2 cups diced tomatoes, fresh or canned
3 cups fish stock, light chicken broth or water
12 large clams
4 thick slices country bread
¼ cup chopped parsley

No primitive responses, but that's not why this was posted anyway.

I always say that if it takes longer to read the ingredients then to actually eat it then it is too much trouble and way to expensive to be efficient.

For what its worth,it sounds revolting so no surprise a DUmbass would like it.

Yup.  :p

I like it because it used to drive ol' Mike, the sparkling old dude, nuts, back when he used to pay attention to me.  Drove him up the walls.

I think stinky Mike is probably paying closer attention to who the trophy wife is messaging on her cell phone with now.

He probably should do that, but I think he got bored with franksolich too and quit reading me.

Which is okay; I can't stay exciting forever for everybody.

And just as primitives need a new objet d' animosite now and then, franksolich needs a new, different audience once in a while.
