Trump's Hysterical Supporters Could Really Get Dangerous.
I would not want to go to a Trump rally if I were going in protest. I would be a regrettable experience. Trump is turning them into a frenzied lynch mob with all this outrageous accusations. Driving people into fearful rage has consequences and I wonder what things will look like as we near the election. And election night may not be celebratory if and when Hillary wins.
There is a real possibility that Trump will not concede and will contest the election even on the most flimsy grounds. Even now he is claiming that election has already been rigged and stolen before the voting begins.

1. He is behaving as if he will contest the election
if he loses (and he will lose), but if he throws one of his usual temper-tantrums, he may find that people are not going to reserve rooms at his hotels, will not buy his products generally.
If he loses, and especially if he loses Arizona and Georgia for example, it won't be because the election was rigged but because he ran the shittiest campaign in the history of the republic.

3. Chris Matthews touched on something like that on his show this evening.
I forget who his guest was, but they were talking about the various women who've exposed the Con's sexual escapades and the guerst described the woman from Fl. believes her life is in danger so she's going to leave the Country. Chris responded "OH MY! If something violent like that happens....." He stopped. I don't know if someone told him to shut up, or he just decided he shouldn't complete that sentence. We ALL know what he intended to say, and I think he's right. At least I HOPE he is.

Does anyone have a breakdown of Trump supporters, or a suggestion of where to find that information?
How many are voting for him who just vote unknowingly and don't give it much thought?
How many are frustrated at how they perceive the government have treated them?
How many are really old (and cranky), and like to wear the Trump hat and t-shirts with misspellings? Think Tea Party veterans.
And how many are actual are actually going to get off their sofas to put their lives in jeopardy by arming and fighting (Militia wannabes, skinheads, Klan and who else am I leaving out?)
I think that Trump will give most of them a TV network, where they can fall back into their comfy chairs and agree with the hate monger programming, while consuming mouthfuls of Hot Pockets and Tater Tots. (Sorry, Fox, you're about to be foxed up the...)
Like most of his believers, they will have The Trump Patriotic Network do their thinking and feeling for them. They will buy Trump gold coins, Trump knife sets, and Trump scenes from American History display dishes (Including the wall he intends to build). It will be Trump and his troops doing commercials and commentary - to fleece the common folk for The Donald.
So, the last thing Trump wants (I'm hoping) is to have his audience shot up. He wants to get them mad enough to buy his merch. Now, they can put their money where his wallet is.
After the election, you will find most of his voters, cursing Clinton from the safety of their double-wide or extra wide loungers - and a little poorer.
Then, of course, the network will declare bankruptcy, because of those immigrants stealing the TV signals.
As for the few who turn to violence: Let their poison hatch out. This country needs to confront these self-deluded people. We'll see how "committed" these patriots really are, when they have to face the consequences.

As are 99% of the military in general. Liberals have this really bizarre idea that the military is going to be on their side during the civil war. Do they honestly think our friends and relatives in the military are going to be coming for us? They'll be coming for YOU.

Rarely do I see violence from Trump supporters. It seems mostly that liberals are beating up Trump supporters and fire bombing GOP offices. A bunch of black liberals smashed up a car with Trump stickers on it. Liberals are stealing Trump signs from people's yard and assaulting home owners when the owners try to stop them. They show up at Trump rallies and cause all sorts of trouble.
Trump supporters harassing liberals? Not so much.
