Anyone watching Rachel?

She just broke the news that MSNBC has learned that US is planning some sort of cyber response to Russia's hacking of US email accounts, but that Pres. Obama hasn't signed off on it. This was leaked and is exclusive to MSNBC.

If this is true, why the hell would MSNBC report it, thereby giving Russia a heads up? Things just get stranger and stranger. Deliberate leak? CIA playing head games with Russia? Something that shouldn't have been leaked?

No replies.  Are the primitives unable to post because they are paralyzed with fear by their saber rattling cowboy president inching us ever closer to war with Russia every day?

Climb aboard the Wayback Machine for a trip down memory lane, back to when primitives weren't afraid to speak truth to power to blood drenched saber rattlers:

Children of the 80's - did you seriously fear WWIII under Reagan?

I remember pictures of missles on the news all the time, the "evil empire" rhetoric, scads of movies about russians and nukes, etc...

I'm just saying that, when I think of the decade of my youth, I remember an atmosphere of fear and hatred - much like the one the * regime has ushered in (only now its much more frightening)

Reagan's legacy will be one of evil, saber-rattling, hate-mongering, blood-soaked tyranny!!!

3. Hoo boy, yes.
I was in college during Reagan's reign, and it was just as you describe. One of my professors asked the class how many of us expected to live long enough to die of old age, and only about 1 in 10 students raised their hand. The air of fatalism was astounding.

14. Nuclear death was a reality
Living in NYC, me and my HS friends were keenly aware that it could all go up in smoke with no warning.

And so we lit up and waited for it. I don't think we were afraid though, knowing it would be done in a flash. But it was very real. A nuclear exchange with Reagan in the Oval Office would not have come as a surprise.

23. The Death Clock was unnerving
as it pulled ever closer to midnight. Only during the Cuban Missle Crisis was it closer than during the Reagan administration.

And Reagan's bellacose, Evil Empire, rhetoric was also unnerving. He just didn't seem to get the concept of "peace" at all. 'Course it could all have been the Alzheimer's talking.
Isn't Barry's and Cankle's bellicose Evil Empire rhetoric also unnerving?

40. It was a constant...in the back of my mind...
The 80's were horrible, the news was bad all the time... I guess like today!
God, how I miss the Clinton years!!!!
Now it's a Clinton that is pushing us towards war with Russia.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

44. Yes - and I realize now
That we were much closer to launching a "first strike" then I would have imagined then.

Turns out Ollie North, Poindexter, Rummy and the gang all wanted to do a first strike against Soviet and East bloc cities as a deterrent.
Now Barry and Cankles want to do it as a deterrent to Wikileaks.

BHO the dimwit better drop it. Blaming the Dems inability to secure their own servers on Putin is one thing. Retaliating against the Russians for something they didn't do is another.

Clinton camp steps up attacks on WikiLeaks, bashes media

Source: The Hill

October 15, 2016, 05:58 am

Hillary Clinton’s advisers are ramping up attacks on WikiLeaks and the Russian government over a damaging email hack, lashing out at Donald Trump and the media for failing to treat the breach as a threat to national security.

The Clinton campaign gathered its top national security advisers for a blistering conference call with reporters on Friday, framing the email dump as a provocative cyber-attack by foreign adversaries with ties to terror groups. The advisers described the hacks as unprecedented interference in the U.S. election that threatens the nation’s sovereignty, and warned there would be “consequences” for the hackers and potentially the “Russian state actors” supporting them.

The campaign lashed out at Trump, arguing he is encouraging the behavior. They questioned whether he and his advisers, driven by their own foreign business interests, have conspired to aid the Russians. And Clinton’s allies fumed at the media’s coverage of the leaked emails, saying the focus has been on trivial political minutia rather than the national security implications.

“I’m not saying this as a Democrat or a Republican. I’m not saying this as someone who has endorsed Hillary Clinton. I’m saying this as someone who cares deeply about our national security,” said former CIA acting director Mike Morell. “I’m simply enraged by these Russian hacks.”

Yeah, that.

I swear, the old warmongers Barry Goldwater (1964) and Ronald Reagan (1980) were peaceful co-existentialists with the Russians when compared with Barry Bozo.

with Barry's new found love for Cuba, I'm wondering when we see "Cuban Missile Crisis, part 2"... Problem is, I doubt him or Hillary have the gumption to stand up to Castro and Putin, the way Kennedy did to Castro and Kruschev.....  :(

At least they had this thing called "evidence," not just "feelings."  Then again, the DUmp is all about "feelings."

I hope not but it looks like Preznint Shit Midas's legacy and Hillary Clintoris's/John Kerry's legacy is going to be WWIII with Russia, setting the middle east on fire, and unleashing islamic terrorism onthe whole world.

All those outlandish rumors about how bad bath house barry would be were so wrong. He has been three order of magnitude worse. if only Mitt had fought as hard against Obama as he has against Trump...if only.
