In case no one's looked at their calendars lately, we're a mere seven and a half weeks away from the beginning of nominations for the Top DUmmies of 2016, and so probably it's a good idea to start thinking about one's favorite primitives.
I know, I know, we still have the elections and the aftermath to come yet, and I'm sure that's going to produce some prime talent, but still, it doesn't hurt to start thinking early--like, at the moment, franksolich's main candidate is hypertensive Bob, who's given a stellar performance all year long, but likely to improve on that the next few weeks, and after the election.
I don't know who's going to be in charge of the thing this year, but it'll work out. However, if ol' Bob and Lamond, or ol' Bob or Lamond, end up among the top ten, I got first dibs on writing their awards.

No argument here, Coach.

So many have crossed over to Manny's board. Can we still nominate them?
-
Did RolexRandy slide on over to JPR? Move on? Take a long walk off a short pier into Humboldt Bay?
The good thing about TMN, MrS, and mal is that regardless of the outcome of November 8th, they'll be as loony as ever on the 9th and beyond.

I dunno why not; sooner or later they'll all be back on Skins's island anyway.
And with Manny's primitives being more squalid and loathesome than Skins's primitives, it's possible Manny'll provide the bulk of the winners.

All four of his accounts at DU have been idle for some time. I do see that he's still active on Twitter. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

Four accounts on DU? Other than in exceptional situations, where I'm a Mod a multi-reg would get detected and deleted at the Moderator approval stage, and the first forum identity banned. Skinner must really like high membership #s or something, however inflated.

It is probably similar to the theory of voting early and voting often or getting out the vote at the cemetery....

Multiple accounts do not violate the TOS at DU. I've seen Skinner state as such (a cursory search for that thread just now came up empty)
Makes you wonder....why??
EDITED TO ADD:
I found the thread with Skinner's "approval" ---> http://www.democraticunderground.com/1259892

That's odd, because they used to (violate). I remember it well during the scam that rocked the internet, how insistent Skins was about it; absolutely no sockpuppies.
But then he seemed to grow lax about the matter as time went on, so I figured that while it still may be a violation (which it apparently isn't), Skins didn't care.

As FaC said, perhaps gaming whatever system they're in comes naturally to them.

How is that even possible?

OK, can't resist the alliteration ...
Manny skimmed Skinner's scum? :rimshot:
