the likelihood that BHO's position on any issue is consistent decreases dramatically with the passage of time.
Obama Wants Florida, Michigan Delegates To Have Full Voting Rights
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Less than a month before Democrats hold their historic national convention in Denver, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) has asked the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to allow convention delegates from Florida and Michigan to cast a full vote.
In a letter to the DNC on Sunday, Obama asked the DNC's Credentials Committee, which meets a day before the convention, to pass a resolution restoring the full voting power of delegates from the two states.
"As a candidate for the nomination, I supported the DNC's efforts to establish and enforce a schedule for primaries and caucuses that would broaden the opportunity for Democrats from all regions... to have a meaningful voice," Obama wrote. "As we prepare to come together in Denver, however, we must be - and will be - united in our determination to change the course of our nation... Democrats in Florida and Michigan must know that they are full partners and colleagues in our historic mission to reshape Washington and lead our country in a new direction."
Florida and Michigan were stripped of all their convention delegates by the DNC for scheduling their respective primaries earlier than February 5. Party rules allow only four states - Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina - to hold primaries before that date.
The DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee decided in May to give back Florida and Michigan all their delegates but with only half their voting power.

Is he trying to make peace with Fla and Mich ?
Isn't a little late in the day ?

Aren't these the same delegates, that during the primary season, he didn't want counted?
Is this a "flip-flop" or a "decision of major suck-up proportions"? :whatever:

I believe it was "moving the goalposts after the game has been started" :whatever: :-) , which was the most ridiculous and inappropriate metaphor I can imagine . . . the people in FL and MI shouldn't be fooled; BHO only allowed them to matter once they no longer mattered.

Classic democrat strategy. Change the rules only when it benefits us. :whatever:

humorous. I googled around to try to find quotes from him about the FL and MI delegations prior to June 1, and there are precious few of them, and most of them are noncommittal. I know it will be hard for anyone to believe, but it's like he didn't exist in june on this issue, and if he did, he didn't seem to think very much about it. :uhsure: :lmao:
his surrogates were out in full force, but he was invisible. (I was going to say that he was a "shadow", but I am sure that would have been racist :-) )

It doesn't matter. Obama's main duty will be to hold up George Soros' address numbers.

I hope all of the ashtrays in the Clinton house are under lock and key.
