I heard about this but haven't had time to dig into the story. I did hear that 16 cops have been injured during the protest.

Apparently one of the dumbshit rioters/protestors got shot, my money is on it being another gangbanger settling a score (Or just using typical ghetto firearms safety procedures) and the BLM idiots are using it to amp up the protests.

A white man brandishing a gun was filmed driving slowly through a crowd of demonstrators as violence erupted in Charlotte on Wednesday night.
A video of the alarming moment was posted on social media by writer Heather Head in the midst of the chaos.
'White dude drives into crowd of peaceful protesters, draws gun, allowed to drive away alive. With my own eyes. #CharlotteProtest,' she wrote alongside the shocking clip.
The man was surrounded by protesters who were marching against the deadly shooting of black man Keith Lamont Scott by a cop on Tuesday afternoon.
'No justice, no peace,' the group are heard chanting before they spot the man's weapon.
People begin swearing and shouting 'he's got a gun' as the car sounds its horn.
Funny how that whole 'self-preservation thing' kicked in in the example from the last sentence, isn't it? :whistling:

Panthers Reportedly Could Move Home Game Following Riots in Charlotte

Carolina Panthers officials are reportedly set to meet Thursday to discuss potential security issues ahead of Sunday's home game against the Minnesota Vikings following protests in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area that are expected to continue into the weekend.
David Newton of ESPN.com reported that the protests, which came in response to the death of Keith Lamont Scott, an African-American man shot by a police officer Tuesday, have at times turned violent, with gunshots fired and instances of vandalism.
Team officials are expected to talk about whether the police presence will be large enough to keep the stadium safe on game day while also focusing on maintaining calm among the protesters, according to the ESPN report. Fox 46 Charlotte, citing sources, later reported that the Panthers and NFL are also talking about the possibility of moving the game from Bank of America Stadium.
Fox 46 Charlotte provided a statement from Panthers president Danny Morrison: "We are in contact with government officials, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the NFL. We are continuing to monitor events as we prepare for Sunday’s home game."
Newton noted that some businesses in the area have told employees not to attend work Thursday because of the continued unrest. Katie Peralta of the Charlotte Observer reported that the NASCAR Hall of Fame was among the buildings vandalized Wednesday night. The New York Times' Richard Fausset and Alan Blinder also noted that the Charlotte Hornets' team store "had been broken into and gutted of merchandise."

A man described as the brother of Keith Lamont Scott called all white people “f–cking devils†in an emotional video interview captured after Scott was shot and killed by a Charlotte, North Carolina police officer.

Viewership in the NFL is going down and a recent survey said 45% (or something like that) of viewers will stop watching NFL if the players keep taking a knee or sitting during the National Anthem. Count me as one of them.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Protesters massed on Charlotte’s streets for a third night Thursday in the latest sign of mounting pressure for police to release video that could resolve wildly different accounts of the shooting of a black man.
Demonstrators chanted “release the tape†while briefly blocking an intersection near Bank of America headquarters in the heart of the city’s business district. They then continued marching as police officers watched. Members of the National Guard carrying rifles were also deployed in front of office buildings to head off another night of violence in this city on edge.
Mayor Jennifer Roberts has signed a curfew order from midnight until 6 a.m., despite Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney saying he saw no need for a curfew.
