I, for one, welcome all the taco trucks. Immigrants bring us their cuisine.

Look around. Over there is an Italian restaurant. It's across the street from another one, and down the block from three Chinese restaurants, one a very good Hunan eatery. There are a couple of Indian restaurants, a Vietnamese restaurant and even a new West African place that just opened nearby. The Mexican restaurants are a couple of blocks away, with the sushi bar and teppanyaki place a short walk from where we're standing. The old German restaurant in town will soon have some competition from yet another Irish pub, too.

Taco trucks? Bring 'em on. Our lives are enriched by immigration, which brings the cuisines of the world to our neighborhood, along with many other cultural benefits.

Sorry Herr Drumpf. We all like international food. Go find something else to do, won't you?

I suppose it really isn't all that long of a post, but it sure seems like it.  I feel sorry for anyone who has to endure a conversation with this guy in real life.  Our CIA should find a way of putting him to work down in Gitmo--put him in a cell with a detainee and have him start droning on and on and Hadji would tell you anything you wanted to know just to make it stop.

The left thinks they they really have something going with this taco truck business, like they really thought they had struck gold with binders full of women.

I like taco trucks too. I don't believe they'll disappear if the US government enforces immigration laws.

If it happens, I'll make my own damn tacos.

Are Mexican restaurants uncommon where MM lives? I can't relate, there must be several within a 2-3 mile radius of my home. And I don't mean El ChevRito, either.

We're equal opportunity here in Kansas. Mexicans can work at taco restaurants and Chinese buffets!

Our local Chinese buffet has a Mexican guy running the Mongolian barbecue station. I wonder if that makes him a Mexigolian.

Depends on how good their burgers and fries are.

Some Trump operative said something about taco trucks, and that's why the hive is disturbed. This resonated with Rockhead in particular, from another thread:

I am in Mexico right now.

Here they call them "trucks."

Gotta love how, once again, the DUmmies are making it seem like he's opposed to ALL immigrants.
News flash: He, like at least 98% of Republicans, are only opposed to ILLEGAL immigration! All we seek is that our existing immigration laws be properly enforced.
No matter how often the DUmmies, Obama, and other nubskulls bleat the contrary, our opposition to illegal immigration is NOT a matter of race or ethnicity. It's a matter of THE LAW.

MineralMan has put up another post about tacos this morning.  The dolt looked around DU and thought that there weren't enough posts about tacos or taco trucks and decided what was needed was one more.

Recipe for a Taco de Trump

1. Take one cold corn tortilla and fold it in half.
2. Serve.

That's it. There's nothing in a Trump taco, just like there's nothing inside Trump. Both are just an empty shell.

Recipe for a goulash de MineralMan

1.  Climb to the roof of the tallest building in Minnesota.
2.  Jump.

That's it. Do us all a favor and spare us any more of your stupid posts.

It is not just the (D)Ummies, it is the entire left that operates in this way. It has always been a mystery to me, why conservatives do not take this issue away from the left completely. All it would take is two things:

1) Be crystal clear when talking about illegal entry into this country, take the phrase 'illegal immigrant' back from the left.

2) Follow it up by getting several hundred people who are "in the line" to become 'legal immigrants' and people who have completed the process up on stage at every rally and presser. Force the left to choose between slapping them in the face publicly or shutting up: "When we talk about illegal immigrants we refer to those who immigrate illegally to this nation. The left says "people aren't illegal", by that logic, the left doesn't consider you folks who are working so hard to become citizens, to be legal". Attack them on it. Repeatedly.

The left supports and embraces those who are doing it wrong. The correct response is to bring those who are 'doing it right' into the context and discussion of illegal immigration until its central to the discussion. Rinse and repeat with slight variation as needed.

Why we do not see more of that, I do not know.

The only downside I can see to your idea is asking the law abiding immigrants to stick their necks out.  The left is especially vicious in those situations.  Jose the plumber =Joe the plumber x 1000.  Our executive branch is chock full of leftists who wouldn't hesitate to screw those people over--a Lois Lerner type except working in immigration.
