Egss, snausages and sourdough bread for breakfast with the kiddies. Herself, herself is at present winging her way towards DC for a week of business and giving a 2 hour lecture on Rat Lesions at a professional teaching seminar. *Eugh*
What's on your schedule for today? Whatcha doon? Watcha wanna be doon? What are you gonna be doon in PLACE of what ya wanna be doon?
I'm dinking around here on the laptop (Keep your smutty comments to yourselves! :uhsure:) and then I'm going to be working at my painting table for a big chunk of today doing artistic stuff involving paint, sculpy and railroad terrain flocking grass. I should really think about giving up the Thug Life here. :-)
-
dude, snausages? really? I thought those were doggie treats :-)
Nothing much going on in Dixeland. I'm taking it easy today. I tricked my husband into doing the laundry. Now I'm admiring my handiwork. :evillaugh:
I'm teasing. He's really a good egg.

"SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! AT GREEN VALLEY RACEWAY!" < < < You'd have to be an old Dallasite to know what that means.
Today feels like it has no number or name. We are all in limbo waiting for the calender to correct itself.
I woke up at 6:00 AM. My wife was gone. Her truck is in the garage and there is ten pounds of unsliced deli ham in the refrigerator that wasn't there last night. Maybe she's not coming back. We'll see.
Meanwhile, I'm taking applications. Must like ham.

Boned or unboned?
Heh. Pork innuendos. *Snurf*

Unboned ham? How flaccid. :evillaugh:
I would tell you what I am up to, but y'all would be jealous of my rich and exciting life.

I just may be persuaded to share my cloves....for the right ham of course.

Picked up some take-out (stir fry with beef :-) ) for lunch, but I do have to work: more laundry must be done before I leave tomorrow. :(

Your meat is impressive in both girth and size.
I meant that in a totally non gay way btw.

Made some to-die for Blueberry muffins this morning, and Mr Flame took pity on the girl child and is making her "from scratch" cinnamon rolls.
I'm doing a lot of this :banghead: :banghead: trying to fill out a stupid on-line application.
And watching the Cubbies.

I haven't done any housework since I returned from Las Vegas on Tuesday. So that's on the agenda for today. Major cleaning and laundry to complete before I return to work tomorrow after a glorious week off. :(
And the D-backs start in 10 minutes so I'll be listening to that.

Google will now give you walking directions (http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=Nashville,+TN&daddr=los+angeles,+ca&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&dirflg=w&sll=35.11279,-102.51169&sspn=33.400193,56.25&ie=UTF8&ll=36.597889,-99.052734&spn=32.809797,56.25&z=4). Looks like a fine way to get lost as shit. :rotf:

I'm doing some window-shopping for a road trip. I like the 'avoid highways' feature... it puts you on state and local roads and keeps you off the interstate.
I need a GPS. Maybe someone I know will upgrade theirs and give me their old one. I swear, if you wait long enough, you will get stuff for free. I have a stack of networking equipment in a closet that I got because my school was upgrading their old equipment. I haven't been able to use it becuase it takes some oddball rs232 cable I haven't bothered to shop for. I think half of everything I own has been hand-me-downs (especially in the kitchen).

When would you be going on that road-trip? I got my GPS thanks to a family member who was brave enough to enter Wal-Mart on Black Friday and got me a Garmin StreetPilot C330 for $125. :o :-) Look around online, also, if you haven't done that already. I've seen some cheap GPS systems on Ebay and Amazon.
-
Tried working and can't get my computer to read the picx on my camera disk from my eviction and a driveby shooting from yesterday. If I can't get it to read, I will have to go back and retake the pics :banghead: :banghead:
Been reading and thinking about going out in the 90+ heat to swim....so far it's still at the thought process....because I came to visit here and usmilnet. :-)

I don't know... I'll be using the motorcycle. It may be a coule of months, it may be next year. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. I wouldn't mind finding a GPS around $100. I imagine the price will have come down by then.

I think they are jpg's. The disk goes into my "F" drive on my PC. If I try to read them with the disk in my camera, it locks up the camera completely. I put it in a different camera, and it will read the disk and they are there, I just can't get my PC to read them...yet it will read the other 100+ pics on the disk....just not yesterday's.... :censored:

It is more than the average man needs. I showed it out the window to my neighbor lady. She said she wouldn't know what to do with half that much.

Guess that means no ham for me. :(

You can't connect the other camera to your computer and copy them over, can you?

Me, I'm staying in and watching TV. Its like 100 outside with heat indexes of 105-100. Same for tomorrow.

I normally don't "do" leftovers but in this case I just might.

I picked up a copy of Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight" at the library today. I normally avoid comic books, but this one looks pretty interesting and I've heard good things about it. It's a little over 150 pages long, so I suppose it might count as a "graphic novel" or whatever they're being called now.
-
Good evening all. I went to my usual Saturday night hang out last night. Stayed up waaaay too late and slept and did nothing all day today.
Right now, I'm thinking I need nourishment, but I'm not sure what I shall eat.

if you can dig up a copy, check out "Batman Year One" and "Batman Year Two".

Hey Chris...if I hook up the camera...will it copy from the disk in the camera? I thought it only copied from the camera itself.
