This article (http://heatst.com/culture-wars/guardian-contributor-julie-bindel-is-at-war-with-the-entire-male-race/) has a bit more on her - my first reaction was, "Who is that, and does she have any influence?" Anyways, she contributes to a major UK paper and is generally hostile to men. The writer of the article I linked speculates that her comment about locking up and shooting all men was "probably" tongue-in-cheek, but to me she seems bizarre enough that she may have been much more than half serious.
The article mentions that she is much disliked by other feminists, but not necessarily because of how bizarrely ugly she makes feminism look.

I doubt anyone other than a (D)Ummie or someone with a patton oswalt fixation would...touch her with a pole of any length or size, though I expect there are those who have their price, plus one or three named steve who would do it for free.
