Why are shooting sports still allowed at the Olympics? [View all]

You would think that in this day and age, when gun nuts are responsible for hundreds of thousands if not millions of deaths around the world each year, anything glorifying firearms would be struck from an international event such as the Olympics.

Yes, those "millions" who are killed by Joe gun owner every year are probably voting for Hillary... as in, they don't exist.
Man these people are delusional. I see he didn't ask why muslims are allowed to participate in the olympics... imagine that.

Because it is a sport, you dumbass.  Shooting is a sport in college as well. West Virginia University excels at it and they recruit people from all over the world.

Kinda bursts your little communist bubble, don't it?

Our local high school has a trap shooting team as well as a pistol shooting team.  I'm surprised some liberals haven't tried to shut it down.

Uh, it's an Olympic sport because at the Olympics, we like to watch people with talent use their talent.

132. So, if I were to loan you an M1 rifle and take you to a John C Garand match, you would shoot...

A perfect score? With NO range practice?

140. He can not posses a firearm.

As he used to be an armed robber, by his own confession.

That made the blowhard clam up.

Sure did, I looked up and down that thread earlier today to see if he ever answered that, but it seems to have completely jammed his belligerent little pie-hole.

I watched an awesome match the other night that ended with a wrist injury.  I will hopefully be OK by next week.  :-)

What's the problem with it? They do not show it on television.
