DNC Day 1 Mega-Photo Recap!


Greetings from sunny Philadelphia! Skinner and I are here in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection observing the festivities so each day we'll be trying to grab as many photos as we can from in and around the convention. We're posting most of these live on Instagram and Twitter, but for those of you who like it old-school we'll be doing a daily recap here on DU with a bit commentary. So without further ado...

So, closed streets, security fence, and credential-checking, and Trumplings still got in to create a ruckus on the convention floor? Wow! The dude must be almost all-powerful! ::) :banghead:

Isn't it odd that the DUmmies insist on having photo ID to get into their convention but have a problem with requiring photo ID to actually vote?

You know, I wonder why the elusive enigmatic Elad never gets to go anywhere exciting with Skins, his boss.  Skins is obviously playing favorites here, always taking along Lord Marblehead EarlG, leaving Elad back at the office to do all the work.

If the DNC is sooo anti-big banks and wall street...WHY are they having their convention in the Wells Fargo Convention Center?

H-5! That caught my attention, too! Bank-named convention center, staying at The Hilton, Comcast-logo rain ponchos - Democrat Party and DU go big-corporate! They should've gotten Disney to fashion some headbands or hats with donkey ears, ala Pinocchio.
