I attended the Rules Committee meeting here in Philly yesterday.
There was no 'uprising' which was predicted here. There won't be one at our Credentials Meeting today or on the floor of the convention.
We are fully united.
That plane that has been circling the city with the 'End Superdelegates' message was wasting it's time.
They will not be eliminated this week. Or any week.
Donald Trump was once a Democrat.

All I want is a positive, hopeful convention.
One word: OCCUPY
Another word: Banksters
One phrase: 1%

45. Hopeful convention...
Look I supported Barack Obama and volunteered for him and gave him money because he was the candidate of HOPE and CHANGE. Then when he was given the reigns he told us "Don't worry I got this" yeah he got it alright, we got plenty of HOPE but NO CHANGE to speak of!! He was too busy smoozing Rubes in the House and the Senate to work with him. Too bad he didn't see they weren't interested in anything but obstruction until it was really too late. Hillary is a corporate Dem and I really, really hope she gets away from them and governs like she says she will..... In other words she's talking the talk but can she walk the walk and deliver what she's been campaigning on??? Keep tuned in...
Look, DUmmy dicksmc3, there are only two approprate democrat underground responses to your "thoughts", take your pick:
"enjoy your stay"
OR
"your concern is noted"
either way Dummy mole, enjoy your stay!

12. United? The DNC rules committee just forced (with police) Sanders supporters from the building
Perhaps you mean those that were allowed in are united?
Did they offer the bernsters any mini-tacos for their troubles?

47. I just watched a video.
A few dozen protestors stormed the lobby screaming open the doors.
Security led them out to prevent overcrowding.
I guess the dopes are holding off on using Agent Provocateur meme.

15. Massive K & R. Thanks for posting.
What can you report on the supposed "expulsion" from the building of Bernie supporters by police?
If you look down at the bottom of this thread, there is a tweet about it.
I suspect that it's just more hype from people who didn't have credentials or some such, and who were trying to barge their way into the meeting room.
onehandle cannot answer the question my dear Surya Gayatri. For one thing the subject and scope of this thread is onehandle, a dude that dreams about S&W and Glocks but is unable to legally own them. So he spends all of his free time, of which he has in abundance, dreaming about waltzing into a public housing project, kicking in apartment doors, gathering up all of the gunz and tossing them into the Delaware River.

The motto & talking points at the DUmp for the RNC was "dumpster fire". Granted, there some strange moments. But nothing truly is a big deal.
Philly might get far more dicey. Despite the "united front" that libs, media & the Democrat party wants to present...it won't happen.

"this BIG BLACK GUY..." how spooky that must have been! Sorry, I'm sure she's a rebel and all, but something about that line bothers me. I suppose the writer thought it was relevant somehow.

31. I have a feeling if the dude was white, she would have written big white guy...
There really aren't too many people who supported Bernie that I would consider racist or bigoted. They tend to be to farther to the left and normally are standing in protests with many different progressive groups, leading drum circles...
I think people are speculating on someone who was giving a descriptive narrative of what was occurring at the time of the event... And if that is your take away from the entire post or video feeds from the event, then I think content is being lost. Unity should be occurring and this means on both sides; especially in light of the DNC hacked e-mail leaks heading into the convention.

44. There are drum circles, and drum circles,
and then there are 'drum circles,' and then there is real drumming.
What happens at protests are NOT drum circles by any stretch of the imagination. They are a bunch of people hangin' and hitting on things
Are drum circles a racist dog whistle now? What the hell are these primitives babbling about?

46. Why couldn't or didn't she just say
Convention Security Officer?
Because then we wouldn't have known that he was big and black? Knowing what color people are is paramount, more important even than Spanish fluency.

59. lol I wasn't a Sanders supporter
but I lead a drum circle. Of course, it was at a nursing home (the elderly women love it) and not at a protest. I know several Sanders supporters and none of them lead drum circles. The big black guy, now I bet HE could lead a drum circle!
:thatsright:

H-5 earned and issued, Delmar! That "drum circle" exchange was hilarious!
Let me guess, the huffy "pangaia" is some sort of neo-pagan who actually participates in - or leads - "serious" drum circles.
And then there's Beantighe's stereotype-based comment in post 59 of that thread. And did Beantighe really use the word "spooky" in reference to a black guy (post 18)? Is he trolling?

Wait, nohandle (it is not a 'handle' if it is an 'innie') is a prohibited person?
That explains a WHOLE lot.

Isn't "A few dozen" just a wee bit inconsistent with "Overcrowding?"
