This is just a general observation
This is a case that we have been covering intensely, the cops made an oopsie, major one, and two people were found dead by a local ad hoc team. Here is the observation… no, not the cops not owning the issues… that be Tuesday, ok Wednesday, it is in a rural area. Nope, how people view the reporting from my major local media. Fox lies… the other channels are trying to help the cops give all of us a big good ol’ cuppa of CYA…
So this distrust of major media is no longer in your usual suspects any longer.
Does anyone have the foggiest clue what the dwarf just said?

I think that she is talking about this story, http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2016/jun/29/border-fire-bodies-keefe/ She seems to think some kind of police coverup is being aided by local media. My understanding is that the victims were a couple of sketchy meth heads that refused to evacuate when the fire department ordered them to.

From the article JS linked:
Assistant Sheriff Michael Barnett said the first inquiries they received were from a couple of local residents who flagged down a deputy on Sunday and said they were worried about a resident whose name and address they did not know. They said the man hadn’t been seen since the fire the week before. The deputy tried to find out who that man was, but was unable to do so.
Then on Monday, Barnett said, a Red Cross worker provided Keefe’s name to the same deputy and showed him a photo of the property. The deputy took a report and went there about noon to search for Keefe and the girlfriend. He was joined by one of the local women and some Cal Fire officials.
They searched five structures, two vehicles and a trailer and the area right around them, Barnett said.
“We couldn’t find anybody. We attempted to ping (Keefe’s) cellphone but it hadn’t been on for a few days,†he said.
I suppose this is the reality nads calls CYA.
The couple went hiking - or chasing their dogs to evacuate them - got caught up in the fire, and got suffocated. Nothing the sheriffs could do would change that. Then the first persons who contacted a deputy gave neither names nor location. Did nads think they should search the hundreds of square miles of that part of San Diego County?! After being given a name, a deputy and some Cal Fire people searched the occupied parts of the property.
Then on Tuesday, bomb-arson detectives and more Cal Fire officials walked the entire property, except the hillside and ravine behind the living area, Barnett said. They could see that the van was packed with belongings, as if to evacuate. There were plans to use a search-and-rescue dog, but the dog was diverted to find a missing Valley Center man considered at risk.
Yet another search. Between the two searches, the people who claimed they found the bodies easily and quickly knew where NOT to look.
IOW, nads is slandering - almost unintelligibly - the San Diego Sheriff's Department over a big, hot, dry, nothing-burger. Not that facts matter to cop-hating ideologues like her. BTW, maybe it's just me - or I'm part of a minority - but I don't refer to sheriffs or CHP as "cops". When I use the term I pretty much use it in reference to city police. Maybe I'm the one who's odd, this time, but I think this is yet another example of nads being unaware of common American English usage.

The sheriff's office refused to send out the barbecue-sniffing dogs.
It's a conspiracy which can only be uncovered through the use of chicken wire and gasoline!

Well, nads does have an unused parrot cage ... and I'm sure a friend or two of hers has a good stock of empty wine/liquor bottles, gasoline, and rags. nads should be able to contribute to smoking out that conspiracy!

Oh, that would smell so bad.
