Pentagon lifts ban on transgender troops

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced Thursday that the military will no longer discriminate against transgender troops, knocking down one of the last barriers to service based on sex.
The move, nearly a year in the making, came despite last-minute concerns were raised by top brass about how to deal with the medical, housing and uniform issues for troops who are transitioning to the other sex.
“This is the right thing to do for our people and for the force,†Carter said. “We’re talking about talented Americans who are serving with distinction or who want the opportunity to serve. We can’t allow barriers unrelated to a person’s qualifications prevent us from recruiting and retaining those who can best accomplish the mission."
The Pentagon, Carter said, needs "access to 100%" of our population to develop the military force the nation needs.

Super Bowl champion Brett Favre got into hot water for not clapping enthusiastically enough for the brave Caitlyn Jenner at a sports award show and that's the same kind of lackluster support for trannies that I'm seeing in this thread.

But, I question Jenner's commitment to his "chosen" lifestyle. I believe I would be more accepting of his 'change' if he would exhibit some commitment of his own, i.e. that swinging member between his legs has to go or else he's not as committed as he claims. Also, the danglers, the essence of his true, genetic source of his non-womanhood, have to be lopped off toot sweet or he'll have to continue to shave 3 - 4 times a day.
Do that Bruce and maybe I'll believe you.

Ash Carter just laid out all the training and adjustments that the military must make to accommodate a few individuals. He also said "all necessary medial needs will be made available to these transgender soldiers."
The entire military has never been ordered to make a adjustments to accommodate a few - especially not in an all volunteer military.
And who's going to pay for all their medical needs?
Obama and his Administration refuse to address the problems with the VA. Nor have they done anything about the suicide rates in the military and Vets. Yet they'll allow transgender into the military - a group that has a suicide rate 20 times higher than their peers!
Obama is a disgrace!

I can't think of any warfighting skill possessed by trannies; nor of any MOS/rating/whatever the Air Force calls it needing trannies for warfighting. We have not lost a battle nor a war due to the (quite reasonable) exclusion of mentally ill, delusional people from military service. No service has failed to meet recruiting quotas because of the exclusion of trannies.
It's trans-insanity.
