Don't worry, Great Britain. I still love you.
I know you're feeling pretty ****ed right now. Yes, you made some terrible decisions last night, decisions you'll have to cope with for a long time. But you can get through this. Remember when you let that dude John take charge of you? Yeah, shit was pretty ****ed up back then. But what did you do? You pulled yourself together, your assessed your situation, and you then went out and wrote the Magna Carta. And when you didn't get that Magna Carta right the first time, you went back and did it over and over until you got it right. You were persistent--and I don't think you give yourself enough credit for having that kind of character trait. You're not just a winner, Great Britain; you're a survivor even when the chips are down.
So maybe you screwed up your economy for a few years. You still have your wits; you still have your grit; you still have your skills and ingenuity. These will get you through the rough times ahead--and I'm confident that in the long run, you're gonna be okay. But more importantly than all that, you still have me. I will always love you. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I'll be here for you. And don't forget the words of little Tiny Tim which you yourself taught to me all those years ago... God bless us everyone.

Condescending POS. This post really pissed me off for some reason.

Britain just did the most intelligent thing it has done in years, and managed to get rid of David Cameron in the process and the libs call this a bad decision. It was the best thing GB could have done for itself and I think it will be the first of many others to say adieu to the EU. Now if we can just get the U.S. to drop out of the UN the world will be heading in the right direction.

With a perfect failed record of prognostication of future events by the DUchebags, I predict GB will be on an economic run. After all, eliminating a huge layer of government can only help a country.
BTW, DUchebag, the FTSE down 3%, CAC down 8%, DAX down 6%. Looks like the EU will be the biggest loser in the BREXIT.
And to top it off, this is very, very good for Trump and very, very bad for Hillary and Preznint Shit Midas.

Today is overreaction day. It's just not that big of a deal. It's not like the British Pound isn't a strong currency on its own and contracts and agreements can't continue to be made between Britain and other European countries.
This leaves Germany having to carry a huge majority of the weight of the EU, and I doubt they'll do that too long.

There are lots of condescending posts over at the DUmp today. Stinky is especially bad, starting numerous small threads calling the British people stupid. Some people thinking that such a decision should never be left to "the people."
Maybe with the pound having fallen, more people can afford to visit. As for our stock market, sounds like a good time to buy. I think this is an over-reaction day today, too. It's going to take two years to execute. That's quite a window to keep things stabilized.

You are correct.
Fun Fact: Since the MP was killed by a crazy person that had nothing to do with BREXIT except the media using it as such, The market here are still up over all. Check the market ten days ago versus today and it is virtually the same.

Without condescending posts, the DUmp wouldn't exist.

Brits just rejected big, bloated, remote bureaucratic governance that includes people who hate them. Of course DU-folk and other Progs would be birthing hissing spitting devil-kittens!

Kinda what I'm thinking, too.
EDIT:
Then again:
The Brexit contagion: How France, Italy and the Netherlands now want their referendum too.

I just heard the EU ambassador to the USA (????) say there is no chance other nations will vote to leave.
You know what that means? Other nations are going to vote to leave the eu. Big election in Spain this weekend.

More like you need a shoulder to cry on since UK is leaving the EU.

I heard that clown on the radio today.
There's no point in quoting him... he's as clueless as ever.

EU will have to make due without GB's money.
Can they still bail Greece out of her financial crisis?
I'm guessing, no.

And that is the soul reason all the other responsible countries are upset about this.

Does he still begin speeches with, "I served in ..." and "Reporting for duty ..."?
Put SecStates' Kerry, Clinton, and Halfbright together and you get half a brain, 5 @$$es, and zero clues.

I hate saying this, but the Greek people seem to think they can keep doing the same @#$% that got them to the brink (and beyond!) of bankruptcy. They deserve/need to live through the consequences of their stupidity.

It's socialism writ large. The well-run countries such as GB and Germany have to foot the bill for the layabouts like Greece. Greece provides a full pension to hairdressers at age 55, because they "had to work with chemicals." On top of policies like that, the entire country is chock full of tax cheats, claiming poverty while living pretty nicely. So they have no money, and like a DUmmie, have to go hat in hand to a GoFundMe page. Who wants to put up with that?

In the German elections that occurred not too long after the Greek crises (yes, multiple ones) happened, Angela Merkel's party lost a bunch of mayoral races. The Federal elections still have to be held, IIRC (maybe TRG can help out a fellow Dragoon here on this one). Her party will probably take rather large losses then.

I dunno how Germans feel about the financial side of things, but I think the uncontrolled mass immigration, the crime wave that came with it, and the cover-up & victim-blaming that followed immigrants' sexual assaults have built up a LOT of anger.

Oh, and as for DU-folks' "love", if Britons are aware of DU's puny existence, their appropriate response of DU-folks' condescension would be, "F@#$-Off!"
