85. I thought it was for people who believe unshakeably in democracy and democratic values
and the "Underground" part is because those who stay informed and
active are VERY OFTEN not in the Democratic Party mainstream and
are the ones who will keep pushing for progress.
An underground based on "settling" for an undesirable candidate isn't
doing much. The underground in the Civil War wasn't about how to
compromise with the slaveowners.
the underground in WW2 wasn't about finding a practical way to work
with the Hitler administration.
I thought Democratic Underground would be a place for actual progress
so I'm a little disappointed to put it mildly, that Skinner is so ready
to back someone under FBI investigation. Not pragmatic at all.
Maybe "Democratic Towtheline" would be a better name for
the site?

used to design websites for Blue Dogs/Third Way Democrats in Washington, D.C.
Good point. Does anybody know the name of Skinner's web design company? Perhaps it is listed as a payee in FEC documents along with all that Clinton Cash his wife, Shelly Moskwa, is getting.

The problem with activists of any stripe is they are obsessed with trying to fix things out in the world instead of focusing on what might be wrong with them. Then even when they get the change they claim will make the earth a Living Paradise, it goes to crap because the problem was never in the world in the first place.
Any sane and rational person is going to take one look at the DUmp and know nothing good will ever come out of it because of the people who populate it.

All this was known, and publicized, as long ago as during the scam that rocked the internet.....back in mid-2005. It never gained any traction among the primitives.

I estimate that at least 75% of the Sandernistas know about Skinner's scam of funneling Clinton Cash to his wallet via his wife, Shelly Moskwa. BTW, Skinner last year also set up a Hillary website, hillarymojo.com, but it died soon after launch due to lack of interest. You won't find anything there now. Below is link to Skinner bragging about his little pride and joy which died almost immediately at birth due to complete lack of interest.

OK, I'm "confused". Didn't most folk now on DU defend, tooth-and-nail, the quintessential "Third Way Democrat", Bill Clinton back in the late 1990s? And still lyingly claim that the Clinton impeachment was illegitimate and about nothing more than sex?
