2. Bernie is going to be on board.
He has said all along that he would support the nominee. He has said all along that Hillary Clinton is better than anyone the Republicans have to offer.
Right now he is still focused on winning votes in the primaries. Once the primaries are over, he will do the right thing. His speech endorsing Hillary is going to be a highlight of the general election season, I think.

Skinner is out there earning his Clinton Cash which, according to FEC documents, amounted to $14,000 for month of March funneled to him via his wife, Shelly Moskwa. Hey Skinner! How much Clinton Cash did you earn for the following month?

Meanwhile, the Hillbots are doing everything they can to drive the BernieBros to vote for anyone not named Hillary.

Polls show Bernie beating Trump (now) so I sort of have to wish Skinner well in his effort to line up the DUmmies behind Hillary since she is an extremely weak candidate even before the FBI releases its report. Hillary is like Martha Coakely on a national level. Yes, Skinner, earn that Clinton Cash. Make sure the DUmmies line up behind a loser.

Yeah, just like a Roman Triumph, where the captive enemy leader renders final submission to the Emperor at the end of the parade of slaves, captives, loot, and legionairies, and then is ritually slain for the gratification of the Roman Citizenry.

Whoops.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hillary Clinton disregarded State Department cybersecurity guidelines by using a private email account and server, an internal audit found Wednesday. Her staff twice brushed aside specific concerns that she wasn't following federal rules.

Well, well, there it is, another parallel with the decadence that was imperial Rome.

The failures and successes of Rome have much to teach us, ignored as they are by modern thinkers. For instance (Though it was in the days of the Republic), think for a minute about the Punic Wars and their relation to postwar US overseas military campaigns. Many would unthinkingly assume to US is like the Rome of that time, but I see our lackadaisical pursuit and the short attention span of our political will in noncommercial overseas engagements as far more like that of Carthage.

Interesting perspective. And much like Carthage, sadly we are in decline because of restrictions placed upon us by our political leadership.
