John Podhoretz is pretty good in today's column in the New York Post.
Why Bernie isn’t quitting just yet

Frustrated mainstream Democrats worried about the polls showing a neck-and-neck presidential race cannot figure out what Bernie Sanders is doing — and they’re beginning to panic.
They know there’s maybe a 2 percent chance Hillary Clinton doesn’t clinch the nomination June 7 — she needs only 78 more delegates and is leading by double digits in both New Jersey and California, where 690 are up for grabs. It would take a calamity beyond reckoning for her not to get those 78 that night.
Yet Sanders is out there slamming Clinton daily, holding rallies, accusing her of trying to turn the Democratic nominating process into a “monarchy†(which makes no sense, but whatever).
In doing so, he’s aiding and abetting Donald Trump, as the presumptive Republican nominee firms up the narrative that Hillary is a captive of Wall Street and a creature of the old politics.
Even worse, from the point of view of those beginning to lose sleep over the polls, Sanders’ continuing presence in the race and the effectiveness of his attacks on her with leftists are actively contributing to the decline of her image.
Good stuff. The last line of the piece is the money shot. But, you have to go to the link to read it:

I thought the Post was the conservative one and the Times, the liberal one. In DC, I think it's the opposite, though.

Smartass!
I do make it a point to get it (almost) every morning. The front- and back-page headlines alone are worth the price.

You gotta give the old socialist one thing. He's motivated. Granted he is fighting his hardest to be the one to put the last bullet in the nation's head but still.
