NYT: From Bernie Sanders Supporters, Death Threats Over Delegates
after which a photograph of some threatening-looking Bernie bullies
Thrown chairs. Leaked cellphone numbers. Death threats spewed across the Internet.
No, this is not the work of Donald J. Trump supporters, some of whom have harassed critics of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. It was angry supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders who were directing their ire at the Nevada Democratic Party — and its chairwoman, Roberta Lange — over a state convention on Saturday that they think was emblematic of a rigged political system.
“It’s been vile,†said Ms. Lange, who riled Sanders supporters by refusing their requests for rule changes at the event in Las Vegas. “It’s been threatening messages, threatening my family, threatening my life, threatening my grandchild.â€

1. This photo really shows some ugly violence
from a group of people seated on the carpet in a casino.
Better call security.

3. Their behavior is "emblematic" of why Bernie is losing.
Just imagine if all that angst and energy could have been directed and guided to more positive purposes ... and if Bernie's campaign had planned ahead and anticipated the various party requirements of each state. From what I can see his campaign and supporters have largely been reactive rather than proactive. (Lessons learned for next time, maybe.)
^^^yeah, that.
The "entitled" gimme crowd thought they didn't have to mess with rules.

I wish the bern-outs would start making good on their threats. But unfortunately, as is the case with liberals, their tough talk is never backed by action.
.

Obviously agent provocateurs from the Shillary thugs. :fuelfire:
-
The picture looks like a DU pic thread. Ugly, nasty.

Behavior just as bad would ensue if the same kind of shenanigans were believed to have occurred on the GOP side, except the partisans for the particular candidates involved here would all be screaming at each other. It's an extremely serious allegation, claiming that 64 convention delegates had been decertified prior to the state convention because their party affiliation had been changed without their knowledge, but apparently with the knowledge of the competing candidate's team. This is far beyond dirty tricks, into criminal syndicate territory, and to those who accept the allegation at face value it justifies extraordinary responses.
ETA - Given that the death threat allegation comes from a Hitlery partisan, I wouldn't put money on it being literally true, or having come from an actual Sanders supporter if legitimate, since high-level Hitlery supporters have almost certainly pissed on all kinds of people.

Man! That is just like those Tea Party rallies...
unless it is nothing like a Tea Party rally. The Tea Party people remained civil to each other and to those outside of their group.
When it comes to violence and hooliganism no one does it better than a bunch of pissed of degressives who aren't getting their way.

I can't recall any allegations of such outright criminal corruption occurring in the TEA Party movement. I'm just saying if they had, the reaction wouldn't have been milk and cookies on our side, either.

nadin may just "push up the slack" and investigate this matter

7. Area code of that phone was 619
Take my word, that is not one Verizon phone based in Nevada. The call came from CA. Since Ralston released the number...some simple track down has that call possibly made from Los Angeles.
I might push up the slack and actually do it

10. That should get your antenna up
It might even be a dirty trick from the other side. Yes, republicans. Covering courts long enough I just will not be shocked if this is not exactly what it looks like when all is said and done.
By the way...it is a federal offense.

18. From reconstructing what happened
There was enough process violations, that a HRC supporter left and others took sides with Bernie supporters. So it is not that black and white. It just reaffirmed my belief that this was not necessary and that I will pretend to vote in manipulated elections where I don't expect it to count.
I am too stubborn to stay home. But I just expect some torta and cokes to be distributed for the proposer ballot stuffing. What should scare you is that I am not alone.
I just read that story. And yup, it has all the makings of a classic Karl Rove dirty trick. Covered enough of this shit to really make me think in two years, assuming there is even a police report...a court somewhere, in many places actually...might, just might, find out what really happened as far as that is concerned. If these calls were from Nevada...it would not strain credibility that this was not orchestrated.
That thread is hillarious, she doesn't seem to grasp the concept that mobile phones are mobile.

Wait, I thought "pushing up the slack" was what her husband had to do to find her wet spot. :naughty:

These Bernie bullies are really something. I have a feeling that the Bernie bullies may force Skinner out of DU.

Impossible. Klinton Kash bankrolls the site, they'd all be purged before $kammer would vacate it.
The superdelegates aren't going to flip over to Bernie, the vast majority of them are wealthy party insiders who paid to play, not Mr. Smiths, and their bread is buttered on the Hitlery side. When the superdelegates finish drowning the Sandernista puppies, the DU TOS will require anyone who doesn't solidly support the Klintonapparat to shut up and support the Prinzessin or be banned.

I agree. Berniebot dummies are in for a really rude awakening.

I wish Skins would hurry up and ban them all.
All of them, every single one of them.
Leaving no prisoners.
The only way to deal with the Bernie bullies is by being absolutely merciless; it demands suspension of one's normal and usual charitable and compassionate instincts, which most are hesitant to do, but sometimes it must be done. Cold, cruel, and merciless until the bastards are finished off.

I am sure they will try. Of course, Skinner will give them the boot. It will be massive purge on a scale never seen before.

I agree and disagree at the same time, Coach. I want it to go on until the convention. That Hillary will be the dem candidate is a given and DU will support Hillary for obvious reasons. My reasoning:
Once skins put the hammer down, and he will in a merciless manner, the berniebot dummies will be really dejected at both losing the convention and losing their DU membership. Maybe, just maybe a percentage will off themselves... or quit voting entirely. I think either way that is a good thing. Until then I will cheer the bernies on. :cheersmate:
Edited to add: I want to see the dem convention go into a free for all with lots of violence... on national TV. Let the masses see what happens when the petulent free shit crowd does not get their way. Maybe that will wake America up.
-
^^^all of that, on both Skins's island and in front of television cameras out in the real world, is probably what's going to happen anyway.
And so of course it's all good, for the betterment of humanity.
But my selfish desire to have the Bernie bullies crushed, ground into the dirt, as quickly as possible is because I want to get working on the real challenge, manhandling and mauling the supporters of Messalina Agrippina.
But one can't start on that until their, and my, mutual enemies are extirpated.
I'm just impatient, I guess, even though the longer this feud goes on, the better for the future of mankind.
